Creating a NEW Mythology for a New World

villoldocredtialsJust saw Alberto Villoldo’s movie from Hay House on the Inca Prophecies, ….which I believe I’ve seen a version of it awhile back, so what I was hearing today was not new to me.

I’ve had shamanic training a decade ago, and am quite familiar with all of Villoldo’s books and teachings, etc., and felt that this subject matter and the message of the film was expected and appropriate for this time period in the history of our world and culture.

But to me the most important thing to take from this “End of Time” message is that it is now TIME to create a new Mythology to birth and support a NEW WORLD. The OLD world might be ending but the NEW world is only just beginning. That is the important thing on which to focus.

There albertoand shamans.jpgare many aspects of shamanic healing and shamanic theory that I think are useful and helpful to establishing proper context of life as we think that we know it: information on the energy body—the energy imprints in our fields—the choosing your personal destiny—the personal soul retrieval aspects and the removal of things not you from your body and energy field—the past-life residues still lingering—the ancestral curses and genetic predispositions toward certain human weaknesses or situations—the connection to spirit world and to the earth herself—the list could go on and on.

In fact, there are many benefits and ways of framing the world around us within the modern day shamanic world view, so to me, modern shamanism (theory and practice) is a beneficial paradigm to help contextualize our experiences.

The aspect of shamanism that I consider less helpful is an adherence to assessing the experiences we have within the original ancestral context that a particular culture prescribes. As we gain knowledge and wisdom we need to refine our beliefs of the “known,” the “unknown but knowable,” and the “unknowable”—which is beyond our present egyptian knoweldgecapabilities to grasp even minute aspects of what is occurring. These three categories of knowingness have expanded over the years.

If you doubt that humanity’s personal knowledge and beliefs have changed in 3000-6000 years, then take a modern physics class and see how far your everyday working knowledge helps you in comprehending the workings of the most sophisticated electron microscope in operation today or in understanding the functions and purpose of the Hadron Collider.

Or maybe you should write new code functions for your computer—sure, go computprogrammer.jpgahead—do it. Some folks can do this—they have that specific knowledge, but most can’t.  These are specialized knowledge bases with theories and practices that stretch our understanding of what composes the world around us and how we can interact with/utilize that knowledge to form NEW beliefs about who we are as a species and as an advancing culture. Those newer knowledge bases pave the way for our technological future.

To me, the important shamanic connections are those that realign us to who we truly are alexgrayimagebodyat our spirit core—the interconnected Universal energy units expressing themselves in many life forms. When we recognize and celebrate that interconnectedness—that loving, unifying energy—then we truly know ourselves in all our many life forms or spirit expression forms.

When we don’t recognize our interconnectedness with all of life, is when we lose our way—is when we feel disconnected and unstable, or even unsure as to why we are here.

When we continue to tell our tribal, creation myths filled with group exclusions and blame, or where we emphasize believers feeling guilty and shameful for things they haven’t even done, then that’s when we miss the entire point of our being here together.

So I do agree with Alberto and the Inca wise people, that our only way forward is to create a new mythology for birthing a NEW WORLD.newworldtheory.jpg

We need a new narrative to follow. Let’s create new hope around NEW beliefs of unity and the desire for peace.

And NOW is the time to create it so it can unfold with our purest intention and greater hopefulness for our peaceful co-existence alongside each other.

The Anomaly

“An anomaly,” he said. “He’s just an anomaly.”

The speaker was a Gold-Star father, Kazir Khan, the setting was the Morning Joe show, and of course the subject matter was the Presidency.K Khan.jpg

Khan had an interesting take on it all, and one that was well-considered and even generous pertaining to Trump’s mental instability and disrupt-ability.

An anomaly? I thought.  Where have I heard that referenced in a similar context, if only fictional?

Yes, it was in Asimov’s Foundation series from long ago. If memory serves me correctly, it was the politically powerful, galactic ruler who fooled the established psychological pre-screening profiles (called psychohistory) for acceptable governing. They called him “The Mule.”

(Geeze, …now I have to look all this up to be sure my memory holds true.)

Ok, here it is:

Foundation_and_empire_cover.jpg“The Mule is a fictional character from Isaac Asimov’s Foundation series. One of the greatest conquerors the galaxy has ever seen, he is a mentalic who has the ability to reach into the minds of others and “adjust” their emotions, individually or en masse, using this capability to conscript individuals to his cause.” Mule (Foundation) – Wikipedia

In keeping with the Foundation series being based on the Roman Empire, the Mule has historical parallels with Attila the Hun, Tamerlane, and Charlemagne; he has also been compared to the Roman Emperor Augustus, Adolf Hitler, Stalin and several other absolute tyrants of recent history.” Mule (Foundation) – Wikipedia

“…the mutant Mule […] is not given a personality (in Asimov’s Foundation series)he is merely a powerful anomaly” Colin Manlove

Yes. The Mule was the anomaly that psychohistory could not predict, which occasionally happens in real life. Look at last year.

Do I think Asimov’s character the Mule is what Khan was referencing?

No. I think he was just trying to explain a situation that defies logic in a democratic society that seemingly now risks losing its bearings.

“I’ve lived under Marshall law two times,” Khan, a former Pakistani, explained.  “This democracy—this American constitution that guarantees our rights and liberties is solid and stable. An anomaly such as Mr. Trump can disrupt it, but not destroy it.”

So for those of us who are sick of what constitutes for “the news” these days, Khan’s thoughts are actually more positive than expected, or in essence we might otherwise recognize them as:

“This too shall pass.”passing.jpg

But not nearly fast enough.

A World Mid Change

Lisa Brown.jpgI was listening to an excellent webinar yesterday by Lisa Brown, energy-worker/psychic/medium/someone who really knows the subtle fields of energy, and finally heard someone who is completely in tune with what is actually transpiring in the energies around us—in tune with what is happening to us—in tune with what it really means to us if we pay attention to these overpowering energies.

She explained it slowly, deliberately, and with enough corresponding evidence toshifting human.jpg make sense. We are mid dimension shift…from a lower frequency world to a higher one. Meaning that if you can shift your consciousness high enough you simply cease to view reality in one dimension and view a different reality…a world and players who vibrate/emanate at a higher frequency than the world you previously experienced.

Of course this isn’t going to be an explanation that everyone wishes to believe—and of course also, this isn’t going to be believed by those who can’t personally experience the energetic changes underway.

From the moment we, as babies, were able to hold conscious awareness of our surroundings, those who directly interacted with us told us what the world was like beyond our fingertips. If we saw or perceived something a bit different than their stories of what the world was like, we were corrected and told to view it differently—more like how ‘the cultural collective’ perceived the world to be.

frequency headWe were trained to see the world a certain way—trained to believe the world acted toward us in a certain manner—trained to believe that our perception must match what others perceived, or something was wrong with us. Many who saw/felt/experienced something other than the cultural collective’s accepted perceptions were sent to psychologists and psychiatrists to be retrained in how to perceive the world that we shared.

But personal reality and the collective’s reality weren’t always in lock step with each other—in decades past it was simply less accepted to have a different personal reality than the collective.

What is happening at present is that the collective itself has shifted high enough to shake the boundaries on what is considered the norm of perception. There are enough of us who are energetically enhanced to say, “Hey wait a minute—just because you can’t see what I see doesn’t make me wrong in seeing it.” Psychic and medium shows are standard fare now, and it took those perceptual differences to go mainstream for energy sensitive folks to be willing to stand up and stand out for their enhanced perceptual abilities.vibe frequ explain.jpg

When enough of us can perceive and hold a higher-frequency reality for the smaller cultural collective who are more energy sensitive, then the smaller, higher-frequency collective can shift into a higher dimension of existence.

However, this isn’t an elite club.

It simply means that what you focus on is what you perceive in and receive from the world that you inhabit. Like Dr. Pillai in the previous post saying basically the same thing, except he was trying to appeal to people’s material greed and emotional commitment to creating the wealth and abundance available with such a focused mind and conscious attention to obtaining that goal.

higher see.jpgSame principle here—construct in your mind the most beautiful, peaceful and loving world you can imagine and hold that world constantly in your perception—see that world around you—focus on only those aspects of the world you desire and call it to you—that is how you shift your energies higher and maintain that focus throughout your every day and night.

From a more personally pragmatic point of view, it means I’ll have to stop writing about the lower-frequency idiocy so abundant in the world we Vibe high.jpgpresently share, and change my focus to higher-frequency subject matter, such as this post.

That’s fine. I can do it.

And so can you.

(Deep Sigh)

Gosh, sometimes I hardly know where to start.

So much of what could be said about this life experience that we share, I’ve either already said or it’s better left unsaid.

So much of what we see around us doesn’t necessarily reflect what we hear on the news or see as the focus of our congressional legislators who are elected to represent us and our best interests, not their own personal, political benefits for financial prosperity.

It seems that so many of the world’s existing problems have far more to do with fulfilling the self-interest of a few powerful people rather than making the world a better place to live for everyone.

Sometimes I look out the west windows of my home surrounded by farmland fields and watch the beauty of my natural surroundings change day by day…from snowy whiteness, to freshly budding green grass or new crops, to full-leafed trees and plants, to autumn colors with harvested acres of goldness quickly fading to brown, to the returning first snowflakes of the next winter, and I think we’re missing something about this world. We’re missing our direct connection to the naturally changing processes of life.Seasons-Change.jpg

I’m a part of that world out there—just as we all are. We are an integral part of the natural process of life evolving in multiple forms.

Days come and go—as do we the living beings who witness them doing it.

Our lives change day by day, as do our children’s lives, and their children’s lives; and throughout that daily procession we hope that someway—somehow we can positively impact the world that they live in so that they in turn, have the opportunity to make life better in some way for those who follow after them. We hope and pray daily that there will be a CONTINUANCE to humanity and the best traits of people.

But where I presently stand (or pace with frustration), I’m feeling a sense of limitation—of fast-fading delusions melting away into a harsh reality that states the seriousness of the actual situation our world is in, as we hear the alarm bells marking the limited time that we have to resolve those major issues of avoiding mass annihilation looming over our heads like low-hanging storm clouds ready to burst upon us.

What can I do? I ask myself.  What can WE do? Is there a genuine solution here or is our self-extermination inevitable?

Honestly, I really don’t know. When you have two lunatics playing “mine’s bigger than idot nuclear.jpgyours” with nuclear weapons and mass populations, who knows how this will end.

So, …. I guess that’s what we face day by day, the continued uncertainty of self-interested people in positions of power who are seemingly unchecked by the masses who allow them to remain in those positions until they eliminate all of us.

What could possibly go wrong with that scenario?

(Deep sigh.)

Archetype as Manifestation

om symb.jpgReading a blog post on Hinduism, I ran across a sentence that stated that Hinduism is often thought to be polytheistic (many deities) but actually it is monotheistic (one Supreme Being which is TRUTH); and the various other Hindu Gods and Goddesses depicted in statues and iconic art are merely manifestations of the Supreme Being. They are the recognizable ways that TRUTH manifests Itself in the world that we know.

True, this may be one person’s opinion/perception in general on the subject. But it spurred a thought in me that each of the iconic manifestations (Shiva, Vishnu, Brahma, Ganesha, Tara, Kali, …etc.) which handle specialized functions and forces of the arch black.jpgrecognized Hindu Universe, were similar to archetypes—specific behavioral patterns depicted in a generalized, recognizable form for the collective mind to grasp.

In no way can I, nor would I, try to adequately explain one of the most complex, ancient belief systems of humanity, but I can recognize that religions in general were often created to help people conceptualize/rationalize the interacting forces of their lives from birth to death—to help make a type of sense to how fragile their lives often seemed.

  • What’s the purpose, the reason, or the point of LIFE in general?
  • Why come into this existence for so short a time and then leave with little evidence of our having even been here?life purpose.jpg

Well, religions have tried to supply those illusive answers. Some folks might be satisfied with those answers, and some may not.

But what most religions do is to provide their followers with a purpose of life narrative that many find comforting in some way. To be believable, that narrative needs a cast of characters to provide the story’s action. Those action characters often provide the religion’s examples of the human-like behaviors to admire or detest—the should’s and should not’s examples—the goodness aspects to emulate and the badness aspects to avoid.

With deities, however, it is not so much the human attributes and failings that are primarily important about them, because their importance lies in the affecting forces of the Universe that they represent—forces for destruction or creation—forces for condemnation or adulation—forces for cruelty or compassion—forces for personal defense or protection—forces to block adversity and to clear obstructions.

These forces are often depicted as recognizable human-like figures—meaning that they are ARCHETYPES—a collectively recognized symbol representing a pattern of thought or behavior.

Example: When Shiva or Kali manifest in the world—watch out! shiva.jpgThey both represent destruction.

So if we wish to change our social and cultural concepts of how the world around us should function and flow, perhaps we should examine the archetypes/symbols we often associate with peaceful co-existence.

If we truly want to manifest a loving and compassionate world, we need an archetypal model to emulate. That may be the draw of Christianity, where you have an entire religion based on a recognized symbol of love and compassion for all in Jesus.

In Hinduism or Buddhism it might be represented by Tara, or Buddism’s Avalokiteśvara (male Bodhisattva) or Guanyin (female Bodhisattva) who also represent mercy and compassion.  But the point being: There are recognized archetypes already existing that represent the desired state of being. We don’t even have to create them. We simply need to utilize them as archetypal examples of loving forces for the betterment of humanity.

I am NOT a fan of organized religions. But I do recognize that their function is to promote models of positive human behavior and right-attitudes for humanity’s peaceful co-existence.wild angel.jpg

So perhaps if we focused less on the doctrine espoused by these religions and more on the general intention by all for positive, peaceful human co-existence, then there would be less necessity for warrior archetype to remain the primary action hero of today’s life narrative. Let’s switch to SAGE archetype for awhile. We need a little less automatic reaction and a bit more consideration before action in the world we occupy.

It’s a stretch, I know. But it’s definitely worth the effort.

Remember that an archetype is representative of a pattern of behavior, so what behavior is most productive for all of our futures? Hatred and destruction only create more of the same.

Love and peaceful co-existence assure that there might actually be a tomorrow to enjoy.

Treatise on Integrity

integrit paper.jpg“Integrity: That which shall be humanly borne and displayed as an essential aspect of truth.”

Well that’s my definition of integrity if no one else’s.

“To live with integrity is to be intimately aligned to one’s truth and core values.”

Again, that’s my take on it.

But I do know from personal experience that if you live your life with integrity and truthfulness, you will never be disappointed in yourself.

There will be others who might not be very happy with you at times, especially when your integrity blocks their intentions, but you will stay true to your own ideals if you maintain your sense of personal integrity and right-action focus.

So what does this mean in today’s integrity-starved world?

For one thing, you will definitely stand out from the crowd—you might even be the focal point of the crowd’s anger, which isn’t the most enjoyable place to be.integrit 2

For another, you will find yourself reaching very deep within for the strength and courage to keep your integrity untarnished amidst the constant deluge of complaints and insults slung in your direction.

Another possibility? You might lose a friend or two during the process of staying true to your own beliefs on the rightness of a situation or an action.

But the really strange thing about personal integrity is that nearly everyone believes that THEIR core beliefs and the courage of THEIR convictions are the only TRUE ones possible, which makes the rest of our efforts to maintain personal integrity questionable to them.

integrit 3As much as I value integrity and truth, and I definitely do value them, I also know that what I believe to be the ultimate TRUTH may not be the same as what others believe it to be. We don’t all think and feel the same.

Furthermore, in my rational mind I know that truth is often the perspective of whoever is holding that viewpoint.

But also in my being I know that what I stand for as a loving and compassionate human being is as strong and unwavering as any army’s professed allegiance to any person, place or belief.

Stubbornness is my finest trait or so I’ve been told, because to me integrity is a core value that is worthy of staking one’s integrit 1personal reputation on and/or career future. Holding one’s personal integrity firm and unbending can define us as compassionate human beings when others around us flutter in the winds of political change and collective opinion.

In the largest sense, our Nation was built on certain fundamental assumptions on rightness and fairness, on equity and justice; and when the integrity of any democratically elected official is in question or fluctuating toward non-democratic ideals, then further exposition and assessment of possible wrong-doing must be allowed to happen. The democracy that supports us depends on the integrity of those who lead it.

If we can’t at least rely on a leader’s integrity to do what is lawful and right as guaranteed to us by our U.S. constitution, then we have little firm ground on which to take a stand.

integ world

As I mentioned previously, maintaining one’s integrity is often a tough and lonely stance to take in the face of tumultuous, self-serving opposition, but sometimes it is the only stand we truly have before we are driven to our knees.

When UP is DOWN

That’s the bad thing about constant chaos—it destroys your sense of normalcy.

When illusions shatter like fine crystal smashed against stone, what remains is the broken glassreality of hand-cutting, glass shards left to gather; and that seems to be what we are doing most of the time now—constantly collecting the broken pieces of established Presidential protocols.

Critical mass was reached last week in the continuing saga of our Democracy under siege by a self-proclaimed “change-agent” who admires dictators.

The Acting US Attorney General assigned a Special Prosecutor to take over the Trump Campaign/Russian Interference investigations because Congress couldn’t be trusted to not be sppolitically influenced in finding the TRUTH, no matter the consequences; PLUS the President himself was directly interfering in the investigation—particularly by firing the FBI Director who had been leading it. (And then moronically admitting it on national television that it was indeed what he had done.)

However even chaos has its own system of dissolution and realignment. In Literary Criticism, which is “the study, evaluations and interpretation of Literature” (Wikipedia), that system of dissolution and realignment is called Deconstruction.

The effect of Deconstruction is like tearing apart a house just to see what it was made deconstructof—meaning you deconstruct it board by board until you have reached the ground on which it once stood. You may ultimately find your answer to the “what’s it made of?” question but you will unfortunately no longer have a structure to shield you from the harsher elements of life.

It would seem that is what is happening to our Democracy at present—Deconstruction. It is being tested by an unscrupulous agent of CHAOS—even in his own mind—who is attempting to deconstruct our Constitution and three levels of governance in favor of his single-ruler, autocratic aspirations.

Dare to cross him? His signature television quote “YOU’RE FIRED” would be his immediate response to you.

The gut-churning question for many of us was: How long autocracy.jpgwould his autocratic governing tendencies be permitted to continue without congress or the judicial system stepping in to stop him?

Well, two days ago a counter shot was fired across Trump’s bow to bring TRUTH and FAIRNESS back to the investigatory process. Perhaps a few congress-people awoke to the fact that without restraints on his attempts to seize more power, there could be public revolts that might affect their own congressional lives. Self-survival seems to be the one thing that they DO understand and will defend.

impeach.jpgImpeachment is a common subject for discussion now on news shows, as is the increased mention of Amendment 25 that I posted previously.

We don’t know where this all will lead. I know I have my preferences, but I will be content to see genuine justice served with fair hearings and investigations into abuses and criminal behaviors of all involved parties, no matter who they might be.

Who knows, perhaps in the near or distant future he himself fired.jpgwill hear those words he made so famous on his pseudo-reality TV show: “YOU’RE FIRED!”

I hope so, because this isn’t HIS “pseudo-reality” that the rest of us are living.
