The Immeasurable ALLNESS in Everything

handinfinity67.jpg

This title came to me while I was lying in bed last night. Too lazy to get back up and write it down before I forgot it, I thought, Good luck remembering that one by morning, but it actually stuck around to be posted now.

What does that even mean: the immeasurable ALLNESS in everything? What is my High Self trying to help me understand?

What I really wanted to write about was the gender-polarity of the views over the Kavanaugh hearings. Even today on Facebook, I see the posts by outraged women countered by a few male comments below them saying basically “What’s the big deal? He’s qualified. Get over it!”

Well as a woman, I can honestly say that this situation/subject matter handling isn’t something you “get over” as much as you work through it to come out the other side—maybe a bit battered and bruised in the process, but alive and resolved to never let it happen to you again. THAT’S the BIG DEAL.

For US as women, this is just the latest character-building material that defines us either as a malefemalebrains35brain.jpgsuccessful survivor of malicious male intentions or as a helpless victim of them.  For those who erroneously believe the political/righteous battle is now over, I am amazed at your naiveté.  It has only begun—renewed by such flagrant dismissal of women’s attempts to get those in power to listen to us and take our claims seriously. Once again, we’ve been underestimated, but that is our true advantage in this situation with the midterms only a month away. Our VOTE is powerful—individually and as a group block.

And even in stating that, at the same time I see Higher Intention’s influence in this overall scenario of Trump’s ascendance to power with the flagrantly-hailed patriarchal mind-set of women as easily-dismissed, inconsequential objects of a male dominated world that through some weird quirk of fate (or Spirit’s perverse sense of humor), he presently rules.

So where is the “immeasurable ALLNESS” in this?

The ALLNESS is in the process itself: adversity drives resistance, and resistance drives change. Polarity exists to provide movement and counter movement to progress our conscious awareness.

The progression of conscious awareness drives higher thought and human behavioral adaptation to expanded ways of thinking.

The “immeasurable ALLNESS” in this situation means that as a human species, we are continually testing ourselves and our latent abilities to recognize our human sameness, rather than our gender differences.

2ndmouthtape43.jpgThe ascendance of Trump meant that the “King of All Shadows” is fully exposing how easily personal perversion and greed affects collective social behavior—human desires—human weaknesses—human motivations.

We’re being schooled in how divisiveness and fear can control the masses—IF WE ALLOW IT TO HAPPEN!

The real question is: Are we going to accept the challenge and make the much needed change in political leadership that drives our nation forward, rather than let them pull us further backward?

I hope so.   I VOTE to move forward with positive changes for ourselves and for our nation.

VOTE in November—it really does represent “the immeasurable ALLNESS in everything” that we hold dear.

Miracles Do Happen

If you think there is no power in prayer or positive visualization, consider what has happened the last few days:

  • Although one Thai diver died in the process, 13 people—12 kids and their coach—were slowly but safely extricated over the course of three days, from a flooded cave in Thailand.

caverescue2018.jpg

  • A prop sea-plane crash-landed on a mountain in Alaska, and all 11 people survived and were quickly rescued.

alaska-plane-crash-uscg-mo-2018.jpg

  • An abandoned 5-month old baby buried face-down in the dirt of the Montana wilderness for 9 hours “clothed only in a wet, soiled onesie”, was found alive and in reasonably good health. “This is what we call a miracle,” the sheriff’s office said. He was found by Deputy Ross Jessop while searching the huge wooded area, when he heard “just a whimper.”

babymiontanafound.jpg

(Look closely at that little hand–the dirt under the fingernails and the scratches on the palm and fingers. That baby fought for its life.)

So if you think good things don’t happen in this Age of Trump—think again.

Even the British are preparing for Trump’s upcoming visit to the Queen with him cruising over London’s famed Parliament (see below). They have the right idea celebrating his significance on the world stage this week. I wonder if they can mass-produce those balloons?

NATO should include them in the complementary gift packets to the other leaders. I bet it would be the HIT of the conference.

I’ll also bet that Angela Merkel probably wants at least half a dozen for personal, nefarious purposes.

(Here’s the Large Orange One’s infamous sneer: Notice the ever present cell-phone in his right teensy-tiny, little hand.)

neighborhood bully.jpg

(Well, there goes the neighborhood–who let the hot-air BULLY out?)

trumpbabytour of london.jpg

(Trump-baby tours London from the only safe place he can find to do so.  Lots of roaring crowds there, I’ll bet, but not exactly like his well-funded campaign rallies.)

See, some miracles really DO happen!  Be extremely thankful for each and every one of them–especially the first three mentioned in this post.  I know that I am!

And here in the USA, we’re just glad Trump-baby’s out of the country this week so we can share him with the rest of the world!

That’s another miracle for us–but not so much for you, Europe. Sorry.

On Being Positive

If folks think that maintaining a positive attitude in today’s world comes easily, I can posemotibunch.jpgassure them that it isn’t.

When we are enveloped in such blatant cruelty to other human beings—strafed daily with offensive, verbal assaults on our person and our differing ideas—staying positive through all of THAT is quite a trick.

Every morning we have to armor up and set our defense shields to “DEFLECT” just tosupersademotri.png make it through the day. That’s a little sad, don’t you think? (Insert SAD- face emoji here for emphasis.)

Yesterday I watched a lovely, gentle person I know try to defend her immigration/child separation Facebook posts against cruel, heartless comments that countered her message.  I offered my simple “HEART-LIKE” (insert HEART emoji here) to her just to let her know that I stand hearteoti9with her, if only from a distance; but at the same time I know that when we engage on social media with people who strongly disagree with us and disagree with who we are as loving individuals, then they are NOT really our friends, even though they might be on our FRIENDS list.

And if we can’t handle their unkind comments, then we must either remove them as our FRIENDS or stay off the PUBLIC airwaves—it’s that simple.  But then it isn’t really simple, is it?  In fact, it’s a large, complex issue that isn’t going away anytime soon.

Unfortunately the level of venom in today’s public discussion has reached such fever ick emoti8.pngpitch that it’s like watching a foot-long hotdog being torn apart by two ravenous dogs. Something’s gonna give there—and within seconds that once-whole hotdog will never be seen again—at least in the same form that it previously was. (Insert “ICK!” emoji here.)

How can we be positive about the present state of our declining human condition?

A couple days ago I heard someone on a news show discussing what was happening to our sense of civility in general; and this person said something that I agree with: We are in an unmasking period in human interaction where the “shadow-side” of human nature is dislikeemoti84.jpgrising to the surface for all to view and assess.  No more pretending to “tolerate” others. (Never did like that word “tolerate”)

I agree.  Clearly we don’t tolerate dissension now. We don’t tolerate views that differ from our own. We don’t tolerate people who do not look like us or act like us, or talk like us. We don’t rise above our prejudices or biases—we embrace them, right? We remove the mask and say “Hey those of YOU who do not look or think, or act like me, … I hate you! And I’m proud of hating you!  So there!  Deal with it!”

As we now look closely at that unmasking of our deepest and darkest human natures, we say, “Yes, bigotry and prejudice, and racism, and homophobia, and xenophobia, etc….YES, …these all exist in our present world society and in each of us to some degree; and we are not as culturally and consciously advanced as the civilized people that we once believed our nation and the people who compose it, were thought to be.  We are barbarians still—pure and simple—we are still immersed in our primal fears of scarcity and fears of personal annihilation, and we are incapable of rising above those fears!”

We fear “otherness” in general, and in today’s permissive environment we act out those fears in the most putrefying and nauseating ways imaginable.horrifying emoti5

And that’s not just emoji “SAD-face” folks—that is emoji horrifying!    (Insert that nasty thing here.)

But yet, ….the POSITIVE from this great unmasking is that people can no longer hide behind who they once pretended to be—because they have been unmasked–unmasked by themselves in all their acrimonious glory–they have all exposed themselves for their true feelings on just about every imaginable subject—whether you wanted to know them or not.

gagmeface6

(Insert big “SMILEY-face” here.) ……

No, …that’s the “GAG-me” emoji.

Conundrums

Some part of me knows that whatever is happening around us or in the world at large is likely a part of something far bigger than my own comprehension and concerns.

changevoteThat same part of me that knows this, also knows that severe irritants are often the catalysts to extreme but necessary change.

That’s all well and good, but I think that this same part of me that is so all-seeing and all-knowing should now move from the back seat to the front because the view from my vehicle’s windshield is becoming much harder to navigate through when so much smoke and debris have clouded the road ahead.

What I know for certain: Something BIG is happening behind the scenes.  I know this because I can FEEL it.  It is in the energies rippling through us at present.

I don’t know exactly what that BIG thing is other than it feels a lot like the energies of mass rebellion.

When major shifts in awareness occur they don’t usually come with pounding fists andchangeandcourageflag screaming animosities—although those are the results of voices too long ignored.  No, genuine awareness shifts come in more quiet clandestine ways. Those are by far the sneakiest and most effective changes made around us.  I think that is happening now.

The biggest conundrum I personally face is the one of determining the right response for me to what I am seeing and feeling happening to this country and to the world we share.

Of course I want to rant and rave, to stomp my feet and shake my fists. I want to shout: “Stop being so stupid people!  Don’t you see what you are doing by allowing this constant insanity to persist?”

And yet I know that adding to the venomous airwaves only increases the likelihood that no real, higher consciousness change will occur.

What I view as hopeful and extremely powerful are the semi-quiet, large gatherings of people—voters—who are ready for full-scale change out of representatives to congress.  swarzneggerquotecourage.pngThey feel, like I do, that if our elected representatives are allowing this presidential insanity to continue, then they are not really concerned about our democracy, our constitution, or our nation’s defense or perpetuation.

They are more concerned about “tweets.”

That’s a bit disconcerting, don’t you think—for Congressional representatives and senators to be concerned about presidential “tweets.”

Long ago, Stephan Crane wrote about a young, civil-war soldier’s wish for a bloodstained uniform to show others he met along redbadgecourage.jpgthe road that he wasn’t the coward that he had just proven himself to be, because the blood itself stood as “A Red Badge of Courage” for all to see, even when he wasn’t courageous or brave enough to face the enemy fire head-on that day he ran from the battle.

IT’s a bit of disheartening to see so many in Congress afraid of a little battle of words when they are so willing to send our soldiers into real battles to die for our supposed American ideals that they themselves are so afraid of upholding.

My personal conundrum is how to be “positive” about this ludicrous yet deadly serious situation.

Well, the one positive choice that I do see in all of this chaotic mess is the plan to change out our elected representatives with new ones who DO care about our American ideals and our democratic constitution.

That sounds like a good plan to me.  No conundrum there.

Let’s just do it!

“If Not Now, Then When?”

(Thanks to Tao & Zen on  May 25  for this posting from Lama Surya Das in 1994)

(I personally align to no particular religion, but am open to quality spiritual thought. I like Buddhism for its psychological depth and self-examination aspects. I like Hinduism for its ancient Vedic Seers (as well as more modern saints) who were capable of parting the veil obscuring our perceptions on this life. I like agnostics who claim that we can’t possibly know God based solely on our limited comprehensions. And I especially like the wisdom of our own Higher Self aspects that define our life experiences within the context that this human vehicle is capable of understanding.  To me, this article expresses all of those ‘likes’ by simply discussing Dharma—the way of awakening to one’s fullest potential.)

“Buddhist meditation is the heart of the path of awakening. It is called Dharma… the way of awakening to one’s fullest potential, in Western terms.buddhamedpic5.jpg

‘Awakening from what?’ you might ask. Awakening from the sleep of semiconsciousness, the dream of delusion. Awakening to enlightenment, illumination, freedom, nirvanic peace, inner peace as well as outer peace.

This is a path that we travel. It is not a dogma or belief system that we need to accept. In fact, as a very wonderful wise friend of mine, an American lama, once said, “It doesn’t really matter what we believe. It only matters what we do and are.”

I found that interesting. In Buddhism we usually say it doesn’t matter what we do, it matters how aware we are. It shows that the outer and inner are totally inseparable. It is what we are that counts, but that is what we do, actually. Our inner state shows up in our behavior…

If we practice this path, we experience the fruits, the results. Each of us innately has that Buddha potential or Buddha-nature, enlightened perfect nature.

Not just in us, like a needle in a haystack, so hard to find; rather, it is us, just waiting to be realized fully, or actualized. So this path of meditative practice, of self-inquiry, of cultivation of awareness is a practice path that we travel ourselves. Not a dogma we need to believe.

This meditative practice is like a mirror to help us see ourselves, to better know ourselves, thoroughly — our true selves, not just our superficial personalities and conditioned social selves, our persona, but our true nature, our true selves. To unfold and realize that is possible. That’s what we call awakening the Buddha within.

An ancient rabbi, Hillel I think, said, “If not you, then who? And if not now, when?” If you are not the Bodhisattva, a selfless spiritual activist or hero serving the welfare of beings, who will be?

And if not now, when? This is a call to action–not just worldly, compulsive busy-body-like activity, but a call to Buddha-activity, enlightened activity, enlightened living… ifnotnowwhen7.jpg

Not just living wisdom from the eyebrows up, totally cerebral and intellectual. Rather, embodying truth and living it.”

The Resurrection Energies

updateeerngy.jpgOne might think this post pertains to the Christian reference on Jesus rising from the dead, but that isn’t it.

What we are collectively experiencing flooding into our bodies and into the earth itself at present are called by some the resurrection energies. These latest cosmic vibes saturating all of our earth-based experience are killing off the old, lower-vibration aspects of who you once were (or thought you were), and raising you into a new vibration that in essence is “rebirthing” not just you, but rebirthing all of us at the same time.

We are all being reborn, like it or not, into someone we have never met before—never experienced as an aspect of ME-ness—never previously associated with as the person we might be or will soon become.

And as might be expected with any death/rebirth situation, even if only symbolic, you can expect major shifts in your life and your consciousness during the process.clearcleanseenergy.jpg

In times like these, things tend to fall apart around you –people disappear from your life due to death or relocation—friends move into new associations and leave you feeling more isolated—your once stable job may suddenly be iffy and uncertain—you start to feel restless and sleeping is more difficult—you become annoyed and irritated at the smallest things because what you had once assumed was reliable and definite has suddenly become unreliable and indefinite—you wonder ‘What the heck is happening to me?’  to the point that you may even ponder your mental stability.

The good news is that you’re not going nuts—it’s just the energies of this present time flooding us with glimpses of who we are soon going to be. Your previous potential for greater lightness in your energy being is now becoming potential realized as the dross is cleared from your field.

You are fast-becoming a new and better you. Unfortunately, it doesn’t usually feel that “wonderful” way when it is happening to us.  It feels more like everything you’ve ever thought or believed to be true has been shattered into shards of unpleasant realities, and demolition dust is clouding your view for a future you can’t even imagine existing for you somewhere beyond this present mess.

All I’m saying is ‘hang on!’

It may feel like you are absolutely falling apart—like every aspect of your life is disintegrating around you—like all the people you once loved have left and you are all alone now and floundering in your own pit of confusion—but what is actually happening is a clearing away of all the old patterns and associations so you can build again with new, stronger foundations and newer building materials that better suit where you are at present to help you meet your more dynamic, prospective future.

resurrenergybeing.jpgYou are being rebirthed into a NEW you—you need a NEW you for a NEW world.

It may seem like the old world is still alive and adversely affecting us all, even as the old “us” are still awakening to who we will soon become, but one day you will open your sleep-starved eyes into a brighter day that somehow seems quite different than the day before, and you will know then that all your rebirthing pain was necessary for you to be born again into the brilliance of who you now truly are. (Again, not a Jesus reference in this context.)

I speak from experience here. The ME I am today is not the ME from ten years ago—or even from five years ago, or maybe two. I might look the same (just older and grayer), but who I am energetically (which includes mentally, emotionally, and even physically) is quite different than who I was back then. And that’s what I’m trying to say to you:

No matter how difficult this phase of your life may become, don’t give up—don’t despair—just deal with it knowing that you are growing better and better with each passing day.  You are clearing out the old you to make way for the NEW and BETTER you.

When things are feeling difficult to handle, watch for the positive changes in your life—cling to every positive you can perceive, and anticipate more of the same coming your way so that you actually attract those positive aspects to you. Set yourself up to succeed with positive expectations for your own “betterment.”  See it, …feel it, …BE it.

The more you can feel into that wonderful NEW you, the faster it will transpire for you.

So at present if things are not going too well, don’t despair, just realize that no matter how thirsty you might be, you can’t refill your old drinking glass with sparkling, pure water until you’ve dumped out the old spoiled milk it last contained, then washed the glass thoroughly in preparation for the refreshing drink you are about to partake.rianbowworldcouple.jpg

These resurrection energies are rebirthing you into the NEW you for your NEW world to come.

It just might not seem like it at present.

The Cultural Tsunami Begins

kidsmarch

This is what real cultural change looks like: teenagers taking back their futures from adults who are too self-focused to care about them.

This massive, collective movement only happens once every 5 or 6 decades, but it is definitely happening now; and I

marchsing.jpg

predict that this wave, along with the continuing women’s movement, will bring BIG changes to American politics—and more importantly, it will bring BIG changes to Congress.

If you watched much of it yesterday, you had to be impressed with the poise, grace, and determination on those stages around the nation—articulate youth vowing to bring massive political changes in November. This should be very interesting the next few months if Congress continues to sit on its hands.

Tyoungboymfol.jpghe NRA might hope this movement will lose steam after yesterday, but I see them only amping up to larger venues with larger cheering crowds.  Funding will pour in.

And this united movement is doing it with peaceful protest, which is how you really make a shift higher in consciousness.

This is exciting!
