A Restrained (sort of) Opinion

I don’t consider myself unique in this world, and I’m certainly not immune to more passionate emotions or the desire to express my outrage or anger at hurtful statements and deeds—especially those statements and deeds intended to hurt or to incite the killing of others.newsshotelpaso23.png

But I’ve learned a thing or two in all the years I’ve been around, and one of those things is that anger openly expressed only promotes more retributive rhetoric and along with that, more overt expressions of that anger, including those who step up to defend the instigators of the original ‘hate rhetoric.’  So I try to restrain my desire to slash out at not just the flagrant malevolence present in the world today, but also at the people in power positions who either promote malevolent intentions/actions or those who simply allow them to continue without counter comment against them.

These things I know for certain:

  • Hate speech promotes further hatred of “otherness”.
  • Isolationism promotes personal advancement/security at the expense of all others.
  • ‘Valuing differences’ over sameness provides learning opportunities to expand the awareness of the greater ALL—whereas ‘valuing sameness’ over differences creates infested pools of cultural stagnation and leads to societal entropy. (There are reasons why isolated Amazon tribes still function in similar-to-stone-age social behaviors.)
  • Allowing hate speech to perpetuate over the airwaves only insures that it will escalate into physical acts of violence against the intended recipients, OR it will lead to counter actions to reciprocally repel and squash those who are inciting the violence. No matter what—hate speech leads to violence.

hatespeechpic432.jpg

  • “You get in return what you give”—is a pretty simple principle, and it’s what eventually happens to offending individuals, groups, and even nations; but sometimes it takes a long time and tremendous counter efforts to achieve the correcting results. ( And seriously people, if you aren’t willing to stand up for higher moral values to protect your neighbors from this flagrant hate-language, then don’t expect your neighbors to defend YOU when the situation flips and that hatefulness turns your way instead. It’s always just a matter of time before it does.)
  • And most importantly, I’m well aware that it doesn’t matter what I think—but I also know that to NOT express my “restrained” opinion would likely cause my head to explode.

Actually I feel exactly like Beto O’Rourke expressed a day ago when he first heard that his hometown was hit with a mass-shooting promoted by the Racist-in-Chief.  And I couldn’t have said it better than his initial response at the news crew’s downright stupid questions pertaining to “What’s his reaction to the El Paso mass-shooting?”  (Unrestrained “f—ing” all the way through the interview directed at the callous and idiotic questions news people were asking him over this horrendous tragedy befalling the town that he loves—involving  the people that he knew.)

2orourckonnews elpaso21.jpg

There are so many things wrong right now in our country’s social/cultural/and even political atmosphere that are seemingly unable to move the congress to pass the necessary legislation to address them, let alone to inspire the ruling party in the Senate to even counter the continual racist rhetoric from the ‘VERY White House’ Oval Office chief resident, that it is just a matter of time before major protest rallies occur across this nation.  And if that happens, things can get very nasty, very fast.

In all honesty, that might be exactly what he wants—to pit us against each other to further benefit himself because he likes to play the victim in self-created turbulence when instead he is the instigator of the problem.  He likes to create a pretend-crisis to then pretend to solve it.  Except he doesn’t solve it—he just stands in front of cameras and crowds and ferments more hatred over the issue. To him it’s one big show—that’s what his presidency is all about—mock theater and ratings.  Not only is that unbelievably short-sighted and ill-advised—it’s dangerous to our democracy.

The current Oval Office resident may not be a student of history, but for those of us who are, it’s a pretty short trip down memory lane to see where fascism and Nazism got their jacobsquotefrom buchenvald34.jpgstart—and unfortunately, it’s remarkably similar to this chaotic situation in our nation at present.

Hopefully somebody out there still cares about the direction that we are headed.  Maybe they are just waiting for the right moment to step forward.

Wonder when that moment might be, if not now?

August Energies: Dancing Between the Old and the New

Of the ‘energy assessors’ that I follow, I thought Lee Harris had the better analysis for August 2019 energies, and felt that it needed to be shared.  So my suggestion is to simply visit the website mentioned below where the video and transcript of his August energy assessment is available for you. (But I did break out a few key points below for emphasis.)

Energy Update August 2019

“If you are feeling like you have been through the wringer the last month or so, you are right on track. August will in some ways be a lot calmer and smoother in terms of the waters of life. But that’s in preparation for September when the speed will kick off again, so this is a month where we enter a new phase for the rest of the year. So, many of you will feel like you’re coming to the end of a period of reviewing and clearing in August, and ready to move into a period from September onwards where more birth and foundational energy will be available. August itself will have a very different energy signature to the last 2 or 3 months; a period which brought with it many surprises, twists and turns, and unexpected events.

The main themes to focus on for August for this NEW PHASE WE ARE ENTERING are:

  • A NEW LEVEL OF PRESENCE
  • VISIONS, DREAMS AND EPIPHANIES
  • SELF-CARE BEING NEEDED NOW MORE THAN EVER

What I was shown for August is that we’re about to enter a very new phase which makes sense of the last month or two – the intensity, the push-pull, the high emotions, the moving from one state to another quite fast. There has been a lot of vibrational upshift happening, in an awkward, uncomfortable or sometimes messy way. But this has been in relation to (and preparation for) the new phase we enter now in August. So, for those of you who are looking for a reprieve from the intensity, and surfing the extremes of the past few months, it’s going to take some time for that ‘clearing’ phase to calm down somewhat. So, self-care and your self-care needs are going to continue to be of high importance….”

***

“…So is it a new awareness you are opening or a new nudge to actually ‘create’ that you are having? Important to discern the difference right now as it can be tricky to know which.

I bring this up because in August especially, these dreams, visions, epiphanies and ideas are going to continue to be strong as part of you reviewing your life, this world, and reviewing what’s next. We’re in a planetary wide review of life and consciousness itself, and it’s an experience that’s going on for everybody….

***

“…There are more people in emotional, physical or circumstantial need right now on the planet than ever before. You’ll notice this and you’ll notice that these struggles are often the catalyst to awaken people into their hearts, their consciousness. It’s a shame it has to happen that way. It’s far nicer when it happens without a pressured circumstance, but that pressure is a part of how consciousness is opening and spreading across the planet….

***

“…And remember that for all of us it can be quite challenging, as we dance between old parts of ourself and new parts of ourself. So remember that today is new – and everything that we’re about to move through is quite new. But most of us in this dance of the extremes that I was talking about, especially in the month of July, we’re going between old patterns, old ideas, old beliefs and then straight into new ideas, new beliefs, new experiences….”         —Lee  Harris

Natalie Sudman’s ‘NDE in Iraq’ Video (2017)

A Paul Selig post today mentioned this Natalie Sudman video and suggested to view it, so here it is if you are interested. (NDE means “Near Death Experience.” )

As you can also see below, the photo of her at Walter Reed Hospital is with then Pres. George W. Bush.

(FYI: The interrupting ads might be annoying but the video content is informative.)

Natalie Sudman had quite an unusual near-death experience in the moment when her truck hit the (IED) bomb in Iraq. She did not experience the typical out-of-body experience where she might nataliewbush42have been floating above the scene before rushing through a tunnel toward the light. Instead, Natalie simply blinked from one environment to another instantly, finding herself on a sort of stage addressing thousands of other spirits who seem to be studying her experience vicariously.

Natalie then describes a sort of download of information. She calls it a ‘transfer of information in the form of an inexplicably complex matrix’. The information included ‘events, thoughts, incidents, individuals, and groups in all their relationship complexities: stories, concepts, connections, nuances, layers, judgments, and projections. It included kinetic equations and dimensions and symbols and flows.’ or as she says later, ‘might be very broadly understood as cultural and political information’.”

Natalie Sudman quotes:

  • “Attention and intention create manifestation.” (20 minutes in) “Our thoughts create our reality.”
  • “I chose this experience—and the value inherent in this incident”
  • “We all choose our experience.”
  • (Around 43 minutes in) “Now I know that each and every consciousness makes a valuable contribution to this world and beyond—no matter how insignificant and screwed up that person might seem from within our belief structures—one person changes themselves and this world just by imagining, in this moment, a more harmonious possibility. Thank you.”

In Chaos Is Cosmos

Dr. Carl G. Jung noted Swiss psychiatrist/philosopher of the last century, is another one of my favorite legacy makers. I found his autobiography Memories, Dreams, Reflections moving and inspirational. He has always had a special place in shaping my personal philosophy of the world and all of us existing within it.

His theories of archetypes and the collective unconscious are still widely considered valid today. During his own psychiatric practice, he feuded with Freud’s approach while he hid his own natural psychic abilities until the release of the memoir above near the end of his life.

This post came through this morning by another fan of his and a Facebook site that I follow, so I’ll just list it here in its entirety and let it speak for itself.

In All Chaos There is a Cosmos – Carl Jung

jungchaosandcosmos23.jpg

In all chaos there is a cosmos, in all disorder a secret order. Every civilized human being, whatever his conscious development, is still an archaic man at the deeper levels of his psyche. Just as the human body connects us with the mammals and displays numerous relics of earlier evolutionary stages going back to even the reptilian age, so the human psyche is likewise a product of evolution which, when followed up to its origins, show countless archaic traits.

A more or less superficial layer of the unconscious is undoubtedly personal. I call it the “personal unconscious.” But this personal layer rests upon a deeper layer, which does not derive from personal experience and is not a personal acquisition but is inborn. This deeper layer I call the “collective unconscious”. I have chosen the term “collective” because this part of the unconscious is not individual but universal; in contrast to the personal psyche, it has contents and modes of behaviour that are more or less the same everywhere and in all individuals.

The great decisions of human life have as a rule far more to do with the instincts and other mysterious unconscious factors than with conscious will and well-meaning reasonableness. The shoe that fits one person pinches another; there is no recipe for living that suits all cases. Each of us carries his own life-form—an indeterminable form which cannot be superseded by any other.

We are living in what the Greeks called the right time for a “metamorphosis of the gods,” i.e. of the fundamental principles and symbols. This peculiarity of our time, which is certainly not of our conscious choosing, is the expression of the unconscious man within us who is changing. Coming generations will have to take account of this momentous transformation if humanity is not to destroy itself through the might of its own technology and science.

My interests drew me in different directions. On the one hand I was powerfully attracted by science, with its truths based on facts; on the other hand I was fascinated by everything to do with comparative religion… In science I missed the factor of meaning; and in religion, that of empiricism.

Everything that irritates us about others can lead us to an understanding of ourselves… We should not pretend to understand the world only by the intellect; we apprehend it just as much by feeling. Therefore, the judgment of the intellect is, at best, only the half of truth, and must, if it be honest, also come to an understanding of its inadequacy.

Motherlove… is one of the most moving and unforgettable memories of our lives, the mysterious root of all growth and change; the love that means homecoming, shelter, and the long silence from which everything begins and in which everything ends. Intimately known and yet strange like Nature, lovingly tender and yet cruel like fate, joyous and untiring giver of life-mater dolorosa and mute implacable portal that closes upon the dead.

Mother is motherlove, my experience and my secret. Why risk saying too much, too much that is false and inadequate and beside the point, about that human being who was our mother, the accidental carrier of that great experience which includes herself and myself and all mankind, and indeed the whole of created nature, the experience of life whose children we are?

The grasping of the whole is obviously the aim of science… but it is a goal that necessarily lies very far off because science, whenever possible, proceeds experimentally and in all cases statistically. Experiment, however, consists in asking a definite question which excludes as far as possible anything disturbing and irrelevant. It makes conditions, imposes them on Nature, and in this way forces her to give an answer to a question devised by man. She is prevented from answering out of the fullness of her possibilities since these possibilities are restricted as far as practaible.

For this purpose there is created in the laboratory a situation which is artificially restricted to the question which compels Nature to give an unequivocal answer. The workings of Nature in her unrestricted wholeness are completely excluded. If we want to know what these workings are, we need a method of inquiry which imposes the fewest possible conditions, or if possible no conditions at all, and then leave Nature to answer out of her fullness.”         ~Carl Jung~

The Force Beneath Our Feet and Behind Our Voices

There is no denying it is a strange time that we live in, but honestly, throughout civilization’s history it has been far worse and could easily go that way again.  When I listen to the ‘doings’ of the world now, I’m always alert to anomalies—the unusual incidents that seem to imply a shift is occurring in our world culture and society’s calcified attitudes and behaviors.

Right now during our extreme social turbulence, I’m feeling the volcanoblowinh.jpgdeep rumblings of a long-dormant, cultural volcano building pressure below the populace surface—nearly ready to explode at weak points in our social structure, spewing plumes of toxic incendiary rhetoric into the social airwaves—spreading boiling rivers of all-consuming rage over everything in its path.  And I wonder how that inevitable eruption will help us or hurts us.

There is little doubt that there will be a historic eruption in our world society—one that appears already underway (Hong Kong and Venezuela).

And just as the people of Puerto Rico are now amassing, uniting, and reclaiming their democracy and their island, the unheard masses of the US mainland are building their forces of dissent and further airing vocal disgust over contemptuous money-politics and divisive self-interested governance that uses ‘fear of otherness’ as a rallying cry.

There will be world change.  Of that I’m sure.  But what that change entails, I’m not certain.

Just know in your own heart that in this overall situation there is NO savior hereno ONE person makeadoff342.jpgexists to take away all the bad and make everything good again, because that job belongs to all of us. We can’t sit back and play dumb in this situation or let apathy subvert our higher ambition for creating a loving, caring society that values everyone and welcomes the diversity that they might offer the rest of us.

The people of Puerto Rico whose very lives have been torn apart by hurricanes, government  mismanagement and corruption—those very people who have been rendered nearly non-existent and inconsequential for our mainland government’s  concern or compassion, even though they ARE American citizens; they, the people of Puerto Rico, have nothing left to lose so they now say “ENOUGH!”

And they are actively choosing another way of living by standing strongly together and by valuing themselves and the strength of their combined voices. They have united in the streets as a mass of humanity that can no longer be ignored by their own government. Change is unitedwestandpic23.pngcoming to their lives, whether those presently in power like it or not.

That is often what it takes to force major change—a united effort to demand change for untenable situations.

It simply takes caring, courageous people who are willing to stand up and speak out against corruption and wrong-doing—and even more willing to speak up for themselves!

I hope all of us have the courage to stand up and speak out whenever it is necessary to do so. You likely won’t get a medal or even recognition for being that active power for positive change, but you will likely build a better world because of doing it, and that should be reward enough for any of us.

Earth as Incubator for the Soul

Just wanted to mention a well-researched article recently posted by Jean-Jacques Montagnier (http://gypsycafe.org/) that begins a three-part examination of the energies of this time period, their purposeful function, and how they relate to the ancient predictions of the Mayan Calendar and to the Vedic Energy Cycles.

He asks these enigmatic questions: “Why have some societies become so polarized? Should we not have moved into global harmony after 2012? Does polarisation have any purpose? Why is the polarisation so extreme? How long will it last? How well are we handling it? Are humans capable of living in harmony at all? How can we deal with major world problems during all this polarization?”

Live-stream Option for Dr. Joe Event

Again, just passing along the live-stream opportunity here.  Too bad it isn’t free. ($50)

As an energy worker myself, I am encouraged to see how well he explains the energy body and how our total system functions because we tend to think only of our physical body as the instigator of all our illnesses and maladies; but the energy body is the animator of our being and when those main chakra energy centers are blocked or damaged in some way, it throws our physical/mental/emotional systems into complete disarray.

I’ll list the promotion info for the event and then comment again afterwards:

“An intentional thought needs an energizer, a catalyst— that energy is an elevated emotion. Heart and mind working together. Feelings and thoughts unified into a state of being. The quantum field doesn’t respond simply to our wishes—our emotional request. It doesn’t just respond to our aims— our thoughts. It only responds when those two are aligned or coherent— that is, when they are broadcasting the same signal. When we combined an elevated emotion with an open heart and conscious intention with clear thought, we signal the field to respond in amazing ways. The quantum field responds not to what we want; it responds to who we are being.

The quantum is the realm of infinite possibility. The only way you can experience this realm is with your awareness, and when you do, your consciousness is connecting to greater levels of frequencies and information.   Dr. Joe is giving you the opportunity of a lifetime to enter the quantum field as the collective consciousness of our community to create a new experience or new possibilities in your life.⁣⁣

You can join our upcoming live stream where Dr. Joe will be breaking down The Formula to change your life radically the live stream is taking place on July 27th at 10am pst (unlimited viewing for 30 days)  ($50 cost)  The main reason we are taking portions of our advanced retreats and turning them into a live stream format is that you, the community, have requested it.⁣⁣

I found this particular testimonial from his workshops was excellent in terms of how a woman worked through the energy release of healing her childhood sexual abuse.   It offers excellent explanations of the chakra energy centers releasing shame/guilt/terror energy blockages and then reopening and realigning the energy centers, and how that physically and emotionally affects us.  Joe explained it more thoroughly as she spoke including physical ramifications of blockages and reopenings.

But honestly I must say that the testimonial prior to that one did make me cringe (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IuvELXutkf0 )  with his hands-y approach to the young woman, and watching her facial discomfort with his wrapping around her from behind and his hand on her chest area (heart chakra location—heart, lungs, bronchial areas because she previously suffered from debilitating asthma).  I do think that was inappropriate and I will call him out on that.  I know what he was saying and doing energy-wise about using his own energetic heart opening behind her to encourage her heart to burst open, but still….the manner in which he demonstrated the heart-opening effect on her was highly inappropriate. And yes, that did adversely taint my opinion of his teaching techniques so we’ll see where it goes from here.

So form your own opinions on the content and benefits of what he is describing.
