Technology Similes to Better Understand Life

The last few decades of technological achievements have provided numerous chipforbrainblue77.jpginnovations to ponder.  New information and new ways of living our lives are now aspects of current cultural and social advancements that previously were only considered as the subject matter of science fiction novels.

And likewise, we have new ways of ‘understanding something completely new’ by comparing it to something vaguely familiar—something already existing.  In writing that ‘understanding a subject better by comparing the unfamiliar to that which is familiar’ using the words “as” or “like,” is called using a “simile.”

This matters WHY?

Well I’ve been reading Paul Selig’s trilogy Book of Mastery (Book I), Book of Truth (Book II), Book of Freedom (Book III); and I find that the subject matter described within is seligbooksandvibrationtextmore easily comprehended because of my existing beliefs in multi-dimensions, multiple-lives, energy work, etc, along with my minuscule knowledge of computer-related technology.  It is the last consideration that I’m using for this ‘simile material.’

Prior to perhaps three decades ago when average households began their meteoric acquisitions of personal computers, most of us had no concept of such things as virtual realities or databases, and especially no comprehension of electronic communications systems.  (Hard to imagine, I know.)

But way back then, multi-function calculators were considered “high-tech” devices, and everyone owned a land-line or had to use a public phone booth to call anywhere.  How many of those are still around?

So now that these relatively NEWER electronic marvels are considered common fare and the latest and greatest innovations are often conversation fodder in daily office banter, our personal understanding of “all things possible” has risen sharply over the last three decades primarily because of how fast our electronic technology is advancing, and with that advancement our understanding what was once incomprehensible, becomes blasé faire.   bookofmasteryselig5.jpg

However, back to Selig’s book series and how this all relates.

The subject matter described in Selig’s trilogy is actually what I have been blogging about for the last few years: The ability to shift our frequencies higher to tune into a higher reality—a higher consciousness, and live a more loving and compassionate life in the process.

With the rise of Virtual Reality games and movies, that mind-stretching has allowed most of us a glimpse into considering the possibility that the life we are presently living is as illusionary as the VR game that we are playing with our electronic devices.

And with this consideration in mind, that also means that this life we actually do live is changeable in a positive way if the “collective consciousness” of our time can shift all our attention out of the ‘fear and hatred frequencies’ and into the higher frequencies of lovingness often called Christ Consciousness or Buddha Consciousness, or even simply called enlightenment.

We use those well known and well documented human comparisons of Christ- and Buddha-behavior to help the masses comprehend that softer/gentler attitude and mode of behavior necessary to achieve a higher frequency collective shift.  We refer to those known masters who highercomnsciousnessblue55best demonstrated what that loving kindness attitude and behavior is, was, or could be. We use them as examples—similes for depicting the highest standards of loving kindness because it’s pretty hard to relate to a non-descript ‘something’ called a “frequency.”

The importance to consider here is far less about the personage—the myth—the story of the teacher or human model (like Jesus or Buddha), and more about the higher FREQUENCY of consciousness that those models attained and adopted to reach that level of loving kindness for everyone and everything.  Once those consciousness masters successfully shifted their own personal awareness, they shifted everyone and everything around them as well by simply holding that higher frequency within themselves, because when your direct connection to SOURCE is that strong, you simply radiate that higher frequency to all around you.

And when the frequency that we personally hold rises to that higher level of lovingnesss then the world around us begins to shift higher because it has to match the frequency that we collectively hold.  I think the point of the Selig series is in learning how to shift your own thinking and behavior into that higher frequency Christ-/Buddha-consciousness range.

(For more on the frequency levels of consciousness subject, eyeoftheeyehawkinsyou might want to read Dr. David R. Hawkins’ The EYE of the I, from Which Nothing Is Hidden. Hawkins focuses on tying all awareness into light frequencies and calibrating the consciousness levels between the general masses and the great avatars/teachers who reached that state of extreme expanded awareness. I’m not certain I agree with everything he says, but he gives a thorough explanation of the multiple levels of light frequency consciousness per his theory.)

Anyway, the Selig books may be of interest to some so I’m mentioning them, and I do think I’ve noticed a shift upward in my own thinking since I began reading them—not so much that this subject matter is new territory for me to consider, but that holding that consideration so strongly for longer periods of time, is helping me to stabilize the concepts in my mind and to “think” from those view points and SEE life in a more clear, unbiased manner because of them.  Or that’s just my opinion and/or delusion.

The main simile of importance here is the one on comparing this life to a Virtual Reality game where you choose your scenario and your actions during the game. If you stay in the ‘fighting and killing games,’ it’s pretty hard to raise your frequency into loving kindness.lifeasvrgame58.jpg

So maybe it’s time to choose a new Virtual Reality scenario for all of us to explore.  This ‘fighting and killing thing’ is going nowhere good for anyone.

The VERB

seemtobeaverb45

“I live on Earth at present, and I don’t know what I am. I know that I am not a category. I am not a thing — a noun. I seem to be a verb, an evolutionary process – an integral function of the universe.” – R. Buckminster Fuller – I Seem to Be a Verb

I’ve been a R. Buckminster Fuller fan since college. One of my art professors was a huge “Bucky” fan and brought the entire spectrum of Fuller’s genius to our budding awareness.

In class we made mock-up, walk-in domes and read many of his books.  I Seem to Be a Verb was even required reading for our Art Aesthetics class. It was my first realization of Fuller’s intellectual scope and cultural affectation at the height of his career fame.fulleranddome55

After all these years, and long after his death in 1983, I’m still a fan.  He is one of my all-time heroes for many reasons.

Another great quote, was the “trim-tab” comment:

Something hit me very hard once, thinking about what one little man could do. Think of the Queen Mary — the whole ship goes by and then comes the rudder. And there’s a tiny thing at the edge of the rudder called a trimtab. boat

It’s a miniature rudder. Just moving the little trim tab builds a low pressure that pulls the rudder around. Takes almost no effort at all. So I said that the little individual can be a trimtab. Society thinks it’s going right by you, that it’s left you altogether. But if you’re doing dynamic things mentally, the fact is that you can just put your foot out like that and the whole big ship of state is going to go.

So I said, call me Trimtab.”

In fact, there are so many excellent Bucky Fuller quotes, I’ll just list a few for this post.

“You cannot change how someone thinks, but you can give them a tool to use which will lead them to think differently.”   Buckminster Fullerdont changebyfighting it34.png

“You do not belong to you. You belong to the universe. The significance of you will remain forever obscure to you, but you may assume you are fulfilling your significance if you apply yourself to converting all you experience to highest advantage to others. Make the world work, for 100% of humanity, in the shortest possible time, through spontaneous cooperation, without ecological offense or the disadvantage of anyone.”   Buckminster Fuller

fullerbanner554

“We are not going to be able to operate our Spaceship Earth successfully nor for much longer unless we see it as a whole spaceship and our fate as common. It has to be everybody or nobody.   Buckminster Fuller

“Never forget that you are one of a kind. Never forget that if there weren’t any need for you in all your uniqueness to be on this earth, you wouldn’t be here in the first place. buckytombstone trimtab.jpgAnd never forget, no matter how overwhelming life’s challenges and problems seem to be, that one person can make a difference in the world. In fact, it is always because of one person that all the changes that matter in the world come about. So be that one person.”   Buckminster Fuller

“Quite clearly, our task is predominantly metaphysical, for it is how to get all of humanity to educate itself swiftly enough to generate spontaneous social behaviors that will avoid extinction.”  Buckminster Fuller

“We are now synergetically forcedcomprehensive-design-science-55-728.jpg to conclude that all phenomena are metaphysical; wherefore, as many have long suspected — like it or not — “life is but a dream.”    Buckminster Fuller

And if you are really into a challenge, read Fuller’s two tomes on Synergetics: Explorations in the Geometry of Thinking (Vol. 1 & 2).

His overall theory is that LIFE is proven to be well-designed. but by whom and for whom, he doesn’t say.

The Act of Living

Living is a process:  Every day a new creation—every moment a choice.

I once thought I could help guide others to find their true purpose in life.  Not that I whatlifepurpose67.jpgwould tell them what that purpose was, only that I could help them to determine that purpose for themselves.

I no longer think that way.

Life, in all its eccentricities and peculiarities, is to be unfettered to some degree— solely sampled by the one living it.

True, there have been others, particularly the words of others found in legacy-holders called “books” that have helped me better understand my sensings on LIFE—my perception of LIFE as it affects me and I in turn, affect it.

But it is only the accumulation of years and personal experiences that have truly helped me understand LIFE not as the interactive environment that I occupy for my brief moment in time, but that LIFE is this enormous vat of fermenting fruit we all add to and drink from.

elenorrooseveltpurposelife.jpgLIFE is our intoxicant. It is our hallucinogen. It is our sustenance that sustains, inspires, and fulfills us during our stay in this plane of existence.

We don’t just imbibe LIFE—we are immersed in it.  We absorb it through every pore, and spew it from us in every way and in every direction.

LIFE oozes from our very essence here. We even generate LIFE.

LIFE is US, and WE are LIFE.  But we are merely a fractional part of the process called “LIFE”.

So when others tell me that they “are tired of living,” I look at them not with sadness or judgment of any kind.

I simply ask them “Tired of living WHAT?—What is it you are living?—What role are you playing that makes you so tired?”  Because LIFE is a process—and it will continue long after we are dust because it started long before any of us arrived.

For those who do tire, I comprehend that we sometimes feel weariness with the process called LIFE.

I can easily understand the exhaustion of continual pain.

As I can also understand severe disappointment or dashed hopes or the momentary inability to perceive a better future lying ahead, because these are feelings that we all have had at some point during our own process of living.

But LIFE itself is not the problem. The problem is in how we sample LIFE.

twain everyday beautiful33.jpg

So were I to give any advice to “the tired of living” it would be minimal, and it would include a suggestion for sampling LIFE in a different way—making a personal change—shifting a perspective—seeing what you haven’t before seen so that you realize you are not the holder of LIFE.

You only share in LIFE for the time that you are here, because LIFE is a continuing process.

Just as you are.

“The Garden of Forking Paths”

oOA netflix34.jpg

Ah yes, mid Netflix show, that quote caught my attention enough to write it down: “The Garden of Forking Paths.”

The show was “The OA” and it was spoken in an early episode of season 2.  And if anyone follows that particular series, you are open to considering multi-dimensional theory and the eternity of the Soul in its pure-light state that simply “samples” life in many different roles and many different settings throughout collective consciousness timeframes.

I assume the woman they call OA is the Divine Incarnate reference to the Alpha and the Omega, except it is reversed so that she is known as ‘the ending and the beginning’ (the Omega and the Alpha).  She is the Eternal One with self/True Self awareness—she is the aware and intentional traveler between or among all transitory lives.

multidimensionallivinglives56.jpgNow in theory we all travel many journeys and live many diverse lives throughout the created construct of TIME.  We ALL walk ‘the garden of forking paths.’  It’s just that most of us aren’t aware of doing more than one life at a time while staying within the parameters of that life experience.

OA had the option of shifting out of one life and into another but finding “the cast of players” seemed to be similar in those different lives. It’s just that few cast members remembered the others from one life to the next.

But, and it’s an important BUT, … she eventually realizes what happens in one life affects all other lives and affects all other participants in those other dimensions. Which means that whatever issues are resolved in one life, resolve smoothly in the other lives, and whatever issues remain unresolved prior to that person’s death in that life, are left to the other lives to resolve the issue in order to free the ‘karma,’ if you will, of all the original issue’s participants.

I know it seems complicated in a way, but to me who actually guides hypnosis clients through their own “Past-life Explorations,” it makes perfect sense; so I enjoy the interesting theories and subject treatments that this series explores.eternalone456.jpg

“The OA” isn’t a ‘warm and fuzzy’ nighttime tale, but it is a thought-provoking exploration of how we move through life in different situations with diverse and even life-threatening challenges; and how we confront shadow issues in ourselves and in others.

I thought season two of “The OA” took it to an even higher comprehension level.  And I applaud the writers for that.   Good stuff!  Well done!

The TRUTH of Perception

What is TRUTH?

truthlightbehind33.jpg

TRUTH itself is a vibrational frequency that our bodies recognize at a higher level. There is deep vibrational harmony in TRUTH. The body, especially the heart, feels a sense of deep peace on hearing genuine TRUTH.

With genuine TRUTH there is no feeling of anxiety or fear. There can be a fear of hearing the truth, knowing the implications that TRUTH will bring with it, but TRUTH itself is a harmonious, energetic feeling. Similar to a lie detector registering the galvanic skin responses of a person wired up to it, the heart registers harmonious vibrations as trustworthy for consideration.

So TRUTH is a feeling that we all can recognize at the energy level of our being if we allow our more sensitive systems to register it.

So then what is PERCEPTION?mirror percept33

Perception is quite different than you might expect it to be. Perception utilizes the body’s natural sensing systems (sight, hearing, smell, touch, taste) to increase its awareness of the environment it encounters at any moment. The primary purpose for utilizing the body’s sensing systems is to alert the living being of the potential in any new experience for safety or possible hazards—which can likewise translate to the body’s ultimate survival or extinction.

But for this post, I will focus on SIGHT—how we perceive the world around us as based on what we SEE; and we SEE because the eye is a smart-lens that captures LIGHT in the visible wave-length form.

Our actual ability to SEE is dependent not only on the apparatus of the eye functioning properly, but is also dependent on the coordination between the eye’s ability to focus that 3f734161510233ed217565f592b1def7.jpgoutside light to cell receptors within the back wall of the eye that recognize the raw electromagnetic lightwave data appearing before it, and the brain’s natural computing/assessment skills to then interpret that raw electromagnetic lightwave data into meaningful images that we associate with pleasant or unpleasant feelings we have previously stored in our memory base.

If we are only babies, it takes a few years of daily experiences to build a pleasure/pain “feelings” database to gauge a new experience against a previously seen/felt one; i.e., pleasurable experience you may want to repeat and painful ones you definitely want to avoid. ‘Neutral feeling’ experiences are registered only as known data.electrospec68.jpg

As you can see from the pictures here, the entire electromagnetic lightwave spectrum is far beyond our eye’s ability to receive data from it. We don’t see low-end spectrum microwaves or radio/television waves. Nor do we see the high-end x-rays or gamma rays with our raw eye vision receiver, but we can “perceive” those frequencies using instruments that are capable of receiving and translating those non-visible lightwaves into more recognizable symbols for us. If you use a cell phone, radio, or television, you are utilizing electromagnetic lightwave spectrum translators. It’s just that we tend not to think about it in this manner.

But in considering the entire electromagnetic lightwave spectrum, visiblelightspec56.jpgour visual perception is pretty limited to the visible lightwave range of from 4 – 7.5 x 1014 Hz .

Of course there are night-vision goggles used today that can amplify existing light to see at night; as well as infra-red, heat sensing devices to recognize a heat signature. So we already know how to “see” more of the electromagnetic spectrum than our naked eyes can show us, but this advanced knowledge that we now consider as perceptual daily standards would have been inconceivable a hundred and twenty-five years ago, before the first x-rays were developed in 1895.

From a broader view, if you think there wasn’t some sort of “intelligence” behind designing humans to operate in the manner that we do, look again at the picture of how the visual receptors of the eye recognize specific light frequencies.  Somebody or something had a specific purpose in mind for the human body, because we are just too well designed not to have a higher purpose for existing.

***

Finally,…this will seem like a long way to get to the ultimate point of this post, but when I suggest that there are other “higher realities” out there in the ethers that we haven’t yet been able to tune into and receive their transmissions, this is what I’m really referring to: Our abilities to perceive reality as we know it and receive transmissions from optional “higher realities” once we are attuned to receive them, is what I believe is happening now.  Our personal receivers are being adjusted now to pull in previously inaccessible frequencies so that our viewing options may shift higher soon.

That is my belief and my hope. But beyond that, I have no proof.

My only suggestion is this: Tune into the frequencies of TRUTH and tune into frequencies of LOVE, and let’s encourage the higher viewing options to appear for all of us.

The First Important Step into NOW

52983613_10156891348016217_2341577759886671872_n.jpg

“The first important step into the NOW is to become aware of whatever surrounds you.”  ET

I personally think the second important step into the NOW, is to choose how you react to those surroundings, because it is one thing to comprehend what is happening to you and around you, but it is another thing entirely to remain unaffected by energy-draining surroundings or to fully utilize the energy-enhancing opportunities that they might represent.

So many philosophers have stated that the NOW is the only moment you actually have command of because it is occurring for you in every instant. While the past is long gone and the future is still in the process of becoming, the only control of your life that you actually have is to face the NOW with your highest intentions and the energy to manifest your future as you wish it to be.

No regrets change the past.  No anxiety hastens the future.

All you have for your every life decision is the NOW. That’s why it is so important to recognize it as such.

***

The other consideration for this Tolle quote is in exploring what I think he was more NOWtimeclock33likely referring to, which is that the NOW is the moment that can propel you into infinity. You can energetically expand yourself without boundaries into the NOW and instantly become the ALL. It’s an amazing experience, but one that can be quite disorienting to what we call our consensus reality.

Ah, …a memory just surfaced of an old Carlos Castaneda quote from one of his earlier books pertaining to this same “importance of the NOW” statement:

“Everything we do, everything we are, rests on our personal power. Iccpicold55f we have enough of it, one word is enough to change the course of our lives. If we don’t, the most magnificent piece of wisdom can be revealed to us and that revelation won’t make a damn bit of difference.

Do you know that at this very moment you are surrounded by talesofpowerbookcceternity? And do you know you can use that eternity, if you so desire? Do you know that you can extend yourself forever in any direction and use it to take the totality of yourself forever in any direction? Do you know that one moment can be eternity?  If you had enough personal power, my words alone would serve as a means to round up the totality of yourself and get the crucial part of it out of the boundaries in which it is contained.”

-Spoken to Carlos by his teacher Don Juan Matus, in C.C.’s Tales of Power

(I think for better or worse what amazes me is that after 30-plus years, I am still quoting Carlos Castaneda.  🙂   But I really do recommend reading the entire set of books on his shaman’s tutelage by Don Juan. I think there are around a dozen of them in the set. Whether or not they are truly fact or fiction-based doesn’t make them less important, because the mental constructs that he creates are invaluable to expanding our concept of what our true energetic capabilities might be.)

As I mentioned in the earlier post “The Collective”:

“I think the increased possibilities of our collectively attuning to higher frequencies of existence are extremely important for everyone to at least consider, because you have to know that they do exist to even try to access them.”

timemagccpic44That’s what Carlos Castaneda did. He said these other realities existed. He said he’d been there. He described what he saw. And while he used hallucinogens to travel through most of those realms, it is possible and recommended to do so without them.

What I most want you to consider from all of this lengthy verbiage is that NOW is a powerful moment. It can be the first breath into a new life. It can be the first step toward a new perspective—a new way of seeing the world around you and seeing yourself interacting with that world.

NOW can also be the gateway to eternity and infinity—seizing this very moment can propel you into true possibilities that exist far beyond your daily comprehension. It is all a choice in how we view our options and how we seize those precious moments of NOW.

So as Eckhardt Tolle reminded us,

“The first important step into the NOW is to become aware of whatever surrounds you.”

And as I then further mentioned, the rest is up to you to take that moment wherever you wish.

I AM the Whole

Some days I don’t have to say a thing other than to share what I’m seeing that day.

Mystic Path to Cosmic Consciousness

“Those who have explored (consciousness) have never come back saying they are outsiders. They have not even said that they are insiders, because even an insider is separate. They have come out and declared, ‘Aham brahmasmi!’ — I am the whole, ‘Ana’l haq!’ — I am the one with the cosmic dance, a tremendous rhythm in which you disappear as a separate personality, and you become one with the whole.”
