The Body of LIGHT

albertolightbody67.jpgI can’t recall how long I have known this to be a fact—that we are light-beings—and that we are far more energy than mass.

But then, time doesn’t really matter in this consideration because time is relative, as are we to some extent—relative to the dimension that we inhabit.

When I first explored the energy practices of Usui REIKI and Karuna REIKI, I quickly realized that there was more to me than I had first assumed.  Energy flowed through me and from me. Energy enveloped me.

But I wasn’t just a conduit of extraneous energy flow—I AM energy itself and I perpetually swim in an ocean of energy.

I AM (as YOU are) a sum of electro-magnetic lightwave-frequencies that can shift higher or lower at will—MY will.  For the most part, I can consciously control my own energy frequency.

In fact I constantly HUM with that energy universefractal.jpgfrequency.  It’s a high-pitched whine that stops suddenly when “something” interrupts/invades the boundaries of my energy field.

I even have an energy signature that is specific to me alone; and my energy signature affects the overall energy matrix around me in which I vibrate.

That energy signature vibration attracts sympathetic vibrations to me to resonate in harmony with my own energy-body frequency, or it repels those energy frequencies that cannot coexist with my own energy in my immediate surroundings.

If my personally-held frequency is high enough, I can raise the matrix surroundings to match my own frequency.  I can act like that fractal repeating multiple examples of its own pattern in all directions.

But if my surroundings are so low in frequency that I cannot raise them, then they can adversely affect (lower) my personal energy frequency to make me uncomfortable in that situation or possibly steal energy from me and make me sick.

This is why it is SO important to be able to hold the highest possible personal energy-frequency—we need to be able to support our own best growth opportunities, and be able to defend ourselves from lesser frequencies that may cross our paths.

lightdarkcandle.jpgPeople often talk about terms like ‘light’ vs. ‘darkness’ like they are moral judgments.  It’s not that simple.

I’m telling you those terms are simply misnomers for higher or lower frequencies that can positively or negatively affect us and our surroundings.

Higher frequencies are those most associated with love and compassion vibes. While lower frequencies are associated with hatred and fear energies.  True, hatred and fear are powerful emotions that can lead to violent actions and reactions.

But love—altruistic, unconditional love—is a frequency that can sooth the most savage among us. It is a very high lightwave frequency—and it’s very powerful, but in a completely different way from the energies of rage and violence.

Love can be life-affirming—life-appreciating. It is soothing and feels harmonious. We feel at peace with ourselves in this vibration.

Hate/fear can be life-disrupting—life-destroying. It feels skin-crawling and uncomfortable. It is the seventh-chord searching for harmonious resolution back to base. We feel disconnected and destabilized. We feel the need to strike out or release the pent up frustration that threatens to overwhelm us.  There is NO peace in this state of being. No violent action ever feels truly satisfying and final. Violence simply perpetuates itself.

Here’s the main difference between high frequencies everything_is_energy_quote.jpgand lower frequencies: Do you want to live your life in the frequencies of love and feeling at peace, or in the frequencies of hatred and feeling constantly fearful and distrusting?

My suggestion for the best possible life is to try and surround yourself with higher-frequency, natural surroundings to hold your own frequency as high as possible for you.  Then hang with higher-frequency friends who don’t need to steal your energy because they can generate plenty high-frequency energy on their own.  You’ll experience lots of happiness and laughter with those friends.  You’ll want to be around them again.

And if you can keep your own frequencies high as well, they in turn will want to be around you again also.

Funny how that works.

Our Own Version of Reality

I’ve previously mentioned that I’ve had training in many energy-work modalities: Usui and Karuna REIKI, Hypnotism, Multi-dimensional work, and Shamanic apprenticing from teachers of the Peruvian lineage.wesselmanquote6.png

I’m a big fan of Alberto Villoldo, an early reader of Carlos Castaneda’s entire collection, and the shamanic influence list goes on to include Sandra Ingerman, Michael Harner, Jose Luis Stevens, Jose Ruiz, Betsy Bergstrom, and many others including Hank Wessleman mentioned in the image quote.

When I say that reality is not what we often think that it is—solid, unchanging, finite, and dependable—I mean I’ve personally seen for myself that it isn’t.  Been there—done that—NOT fun!

When I talk about shifting dimensions of existence and personally witnessing the visual environment around me change, including the energy-frequency level changes, I do so NOT with “authority,” but with complete humility.  If you could see what the possibilities are out there beyond your own little myopic bubble of reality, it could shock you into cataleptic silence.   And to some, I believe that is exactly what has happened. Touring these other dimensions can be a fantasy-land for exploration or it can be a never-ending nightmare blocking your return to consensus reality.

Give it a few more decades, and I think mental health professionals will have a completely different perspective on what their clients are experiencing from a much shamnismglobalsumm64.jpgbroader consideration of what “reality” entails and encompasses.

I also believe that shamanic work is not for the faint of heart; and to those folks whose natural-born receptors were tuned to accessing the energy frequencies of those other multi-realms (mediums, psychics, schizophrenics, …to name a few), it can be hard to decipher what is REAL and commonly shared by others, and what is more unique to your own perspective and abilities.  Determining where your personal boundaries end and something else’s begins, is often not as easy as it might seem.

During shamanic therapy sessions, you the practitioner, often work with “helper” beings (Angels/Arch Angels, Spirit Animals, Spirit Helpers) to safely journey through other realms, or gather Akashic records information, or retrieve lost soul parts for a client; so deciphering whose voice you are hearing when you close your eyes and determining the intention behind spiritanimalshamanism4.jpgthe “advice” that voice offers to you, can be a learning process in itself.  Visuals aren’t always trustworthy. One thing you learn early in shamanic work is that “Things are seldom what they seem to be” and TRUST with your Spirit Helpers, is earned in time.

I view the Wesselman quote above as mild in the “What’s out there?” considerations, and it can be easily applicable to most psychological assessments of how people live their lives: We see what we want to see. We believe what we want to believe. When we decide that reality operates one particular way and exclude other possibilities, we limit ourselves to constantly substantiating our set beliefs—we thought-loop how we view life in general to expect more of the same for us from one minute to the next.

Many times we create and substantiate our reality bubble around us to shield us or protect us from other possible “realities” that do not match our own view.  We are physiologically/energetically designed to hold our own version of reality unless our energy fields are damaged allowing “other things” to access us and affect us. This can include the physical body’s problem with invading viruses or bacteria, or it can include the energy body’s leakage points or chakra/auric field damage.

I could go on and on here, but overall for this posting I simply want to emphasize that what we call REALITY is a consensus view—a mutually beneficial agreement by masses of people pertaining to the playing field on which we all operate.  For that mutual, consensus agreement, we as a unified group in this plane of existence, conclude that reality is substantial and unchanging. realitycacethought.jpg

Except it isn’t.  It is very changeable.

It is changeable because we can create our own realities. But you have to believe that you can do so, to actually DO it.

It’s all a matter of belief.  Ask any theologian the historical importance of that statement.

“The Neurophysiology of Spiritual Guidance”

dr stephanie mines.jpgDr. Stephanie Mines in this TEDx Talk video says that “Clear (spiritual) guidance is an integrated, holistic neuro-chemical phenomenon that forever transforms the individual who experiences it, recalibrating the nervous system.” ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UQOAxT8llto )

Mines is a psychologist who describes herself as “an advocate to clearing personal and collective trauma by unburdening the overwhelmed nervous system.”  She has a clinic and offers training in what is called The TARA Approach, which is an energy-releasing practice, such as releasing the trapped energies of shock or trauma for clients.

In this particular TED talk she elaborates on how to become more intuitive and Neuro+Resiliency.pngspiritually guided in your life: “Let your body become the tuning fork for harmonious efforts…(to make this a better world). …  (Spiritual) Guidance will tell you YOUR role …. Let guidance come to you. Accept it without regret. …Track your sensations carefully. … In that space between assumptions and conclusions, something new is waiting—that is guidance.  Guidance will cause you to give up the life you had planned and replace it with the life you are meant to live. …And you will accept that without regret.  And that will surprise you. ..It is in that very surprise that you know that guidance has found you. ”

Guidance is an expansive softening, whereas compulsion is tight and compressive.  True guidance always allows free will and brings a felt sense of spaciousness.  It feels good. …There is joy in the experience of guidanceGuidance is an organic, utterly human phenomenon. It thrives in the presence of creativity and honesty. …”

“Our task is to find it (TRUE Spiritual Guidance) and surrender to it.”

She is also a very vocal ecology advocate: “We all have the capacity to attune to the spiritual forces that are convening now at the crossroads of time. A call has already gone out from the Guardians of the Earth. Can you hear it? Please, don’t let anything interfere with the reclamation of your personal guidance. This is your whole priority.”

taraapproach3While this specific TED Talk video was focused on developing the ability to listen to your higher guidance and act from that direct knowing, I guess I’m more amazed at the multitude of folks working on their own in the world—folks that I was so unaware even existed, just doing their own versions of trying to help others in some way. Evidently Dr. Mines with her TARA Approach, mixes psychology with energy work to help clients get in tune with their own bodies to first recognize and then eliminate the energetic trauma packets still affecting the client’s energy field (and physical body).

As a REIKI teacher and practitioner, I can easily relate to this approach because during REIKI sessions when I am working on someone who tells me of a particularly sore or painful area on their body and I put my hands over that area (and I don’t even have to touch them), I can sometimes feel the flavor of the emotional sensation trapped in that area (like sadness, or fear, or anger, etc.).

I can kinesthetically FEEL them because they are energetic vibrations that my emotional body recognizes, plus I may get visual images in my mind of a scene in which the client and others participated. When I ask the client what this image that I’m seeing means to them, along with explaining the accompanying emotion that I’m feeling with the scene, they suddenly know what that body pain is and who it was directed at.

Then when we work through releasing the stuck energy in that part of the client’s body/energy field, the original pain washes away like magic. It’s amazing. I’ve actually seen it happen.vortex knots

So I understand what Dr. Mines is doing even if I don’t know exactly how she’s approaching it. Trauma and shock are disharmonious energies that are tangled in the client’s energy field that disrupt the natural energy flow through the body. If that energy flow is disrupted long enough, then health problems arise.

The point of the therapy, whether with REIKI or whatever Dr. Mines is doing, is to find the problem area, acknowledge what the client’s association and connections are to that problem, and then to clear them from the client’s energy field and body. Then the body can reestablish a more harmonious energy flow which leads to better physical/emotional health.

taraclimatechangeThe other main thing Dr. Mines seems to be focused on is the ecological crisis at present and to bringing increased awareness to resolving that. To that effort I wish her the best of luck and hope that this renewed publicity of critical ecological situations can get people activated to become climate advocates themselves.

Lots of folks are doing lots of positive things in the world. Why not join them?

The End of Illusion

wolf sheep.jpg

Interesting vlog I listened to yesterday: my favorite layman’s astrologer for those of us who really aren’t that into astrology, Kaypacha Lescher ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eQNUCWzfUs0&feature=share ) said some things about the affecting energies of this time period that really resonated with me.

I can legitimately call myself an energy worker since I’ve taught REIKI (a Japanese energy therapy/spiritual practice) for almost twenty years, so I know how personal, collective, and cosmic energies can affect us individually and as a group consciousness.

And as that 20-year REIKI practitioner, I’m also uncomfortably aware of how strong the current light head.jpgenergies are that are flowing through me 24/7/365, by how “woozy” I feel if I have my hands anywhere near my head for a short period of time. The energies flowing into us right now are potent and powerful. Sleep is often hard to come by when your entire body is constantly vibrating with the force of the energy flow pulsing through you.

Lescher was saying that the energies bombarding us all right now are intensely penetrating and are squeezing the remaining illusions right out of us. (I would concur to that because of the old memories suddenly surfacing in my mind-screen for reexamination for no apparent reason.) It’s a time for transformation—for dropping those unhealthy beliefs and removing the blinders from our eyes.

die thousand.jpgIt’s a time to see things not as we wished they were but as they truly were/are, both in the past and in the now.

Basically he says this is the time to GET REAL.

And getting real is not always a pleasant state of mind to inhabit because it forces us to reexamine our every motive and aspiration to see if they were or are in line with our inner TRUTH.

What is the “inner TRUTH” and is it the same TRUTH for everyone?eye.jpg

Inner truth is the “at peace” feeling we have when we do or say something that feels right to us. I’m using very kinesthetic descriptions because inner peace is a body-based truth detector.

When we feel at peace it is a deep sigh of relief from our very core—it taps the essence of us as loving beings enjoying harmonious situations and relationships.

Ruiz.jpgDoes everyone feel this same state of inner peace often called inner TRUTH?

Let’s say it is available to everyone because it simply involves allowing one’s higher soul connection to permeate the physical being that it governs, and in that sense it IS the same inner TRUTH for everyone.

But has everyone actually allowed that higher soul connection to penetrate their body and consciousness so that they can feel at peace to know what peacefulness feels like? I don’t think so.truth.jpg

Therein lies the problem. How do you know what inner peace feels like if you haven’t felt it?

I think Lescher would say we have to be willing to let go of what we’ve always done in difficult situations, or let go of how we’ve always thought about ourselves and our lives to be willing to release the old behavior patterns that are holding us back from realizing our innate abilities to rise above aggression and violence.

plumb line.jpgIt is time to shift out of the old thinking/being patterns and create new thinking/being patterns that bring us back to our inner TRUTH—back to our inner PEACE—back to the purity of our soul that is full of Divine Love and Grace because that’s who we really are.

It is the end of illusion in all forms, and the beginning of recognizing our true soul-essence.

Let go. Release all that does not serve you. And allow these powerful energies pouring into us now to purge the dissonant energies that once ruled your life.

Purging our illusions may not be a pleasant purge—as most purges aren’t pleasant, but they are necessary to remove the toxins from your being, whether physically or mentally.live truth.jpg

The end of illusion means it is actually the beginning of living your TRUTH, and that’s a far better state of being to occupy and to claim as your own.

Dismissing the Energies of Confusion, Fear, and Discontent

I was trying to label this latest world-wide, strange energy concoction, because being engulfed in it has me restraining my own combativeness to everything said and done, including some rather unattractive tendencies toward snarliness—much like that tiger in the boat sort of thing.

The nearest explanation I can manage for what is happening to us would be that we are imbibing a strange energy cocktail of confusion, disconflaming cocktailstent, and fear—served on-the-rocks or straight-up—your choice.

It isn’t necessary to cite the most well-known reasons for the unpleasant concoction— if you listen to news anywhere, you are well aware of them. Not to mention it is “political ad season” where slime absolutely drips from the TV screen amid this teeter-tottering, mud-slinging of who is the worst-possible-choice for deciding our future fates.

Astrologically, Tom Lescher, my main astrology guru-guy says it’s all there, mapped out in the heavens: We are getting exactly the very planetary influences that create these feelings of upheaval and roller-coaster emotions for the next two weeks. For those of us more energy sensitive, this latest world-wide mess is way beyond unpleasant. It is explosive—a real test of our highest intention and determination to be unaffected by it all.

I often remind my REIKI students that as they become more energy sensitive, they don’t just feel the awesomeness of the higher-frequencies more—they also become more aware of the opposite energy directions. That’s why as your own frequency rises, it is even harder to be around negative people and unpleasant situations. They pull you down.

It is true that if you can hold your own center and your own frequency high enough and strongly enough for longer periods of time, you can be a positive influence on others simply by being near them, as you help to raise their energy frequencies by your proximity to their energy fields.

But if you can’t hold your own frequency high and keep it there, then negative people and nasty situations can adversely affect your own ability to remain unaffected by them. Even as experienced as I am with situations like these, and as much as I intentionally recharge myself throughout the day to keep my frequency high, it is still difficult to maintain a more positive vibe when this much downer-energy is trying to sink us.

What’s the solution to this bad energy dilemma?dove and lotus

Well, first of all, don’t give in—and don’t give up! Keep raising your frequency as high as you can lift it, staying focused on what you DO want in your life, not on what you don’t. Meditate in a peaceful location and ground yourself into the earth before raising your consciousness ever higher, so that you don’t just lift your own self and your own consciousness as you meditate—you also help to collectively lift us all.

I imagine that is why there are so many of us on the planet at present—we need the numbers right now. We need active participants in creating a better world. We need strong, unified intentions for peace and well-being for everyone. And we need to hold those intentions in a higher frequency than fear can ever hope to touch.

We need you! We need you to say, “Not on my watch, fear! I hold my energies high for peaceful resolutions to conflicts and a better life for everyone.”

Peace and stability may not be the world that you are seeing at present, but it is the world you are actively calling into manifestation with your higher consciousness efforts.

We are far more powerful than we ever believed ourselves to be, and NOW is the time to simply BE IT. BE the Peace. Hold your frequency high and strong, for all of us.

In Search of the Elusive Panacea

“Deep in the Amazon jungle, the intrepid explorers hacked their way through thick vegetation, endured sweltering and debilitating heat while trudging along writhing, parasite-infested trails, …all in search of the elusive Panacea.”

That darn Panacea. Hard thing to find, for sure.rainforest waterfall

First of all, where do you look? I mean, if no one has ever found it, where do you start your search? But wait, you might ponder, what IS a panacea?

Actually, that’s a very good starting point. A panacea is another name for cure-all, magic potion, or the solution to a problem.

Although some explorers have indeed found curative medical treatments derived from Amazonian flora and fauna, I don’t think the solution to all our personal, social and cultural problems lies in leech anticoagulants or “poison-dart frog” pain-killers.

I think that search has to be more of an internal one.

What I have noticed over the years of energy work, which includes REIKI, hypnosis, True-self Actualization, and just about anything else I do including my writing because it’s all energy work, is that most clients tend to think like their former medical professionals have trained them to think: You have a problem, you go to the Doctor, you get some pills, and one treatment should do the job—just get on with it and fix it quick—whatever their problem is.

Instead, what usually happens with clients is that we take care of some immediate energy imbalances and clear some blockages, maybe even make some interesting revelations on why they are where they are in life. I tell them what I’m intuiting about their situation from the feel of the energy they are holding and ask them some questions for them to later ponder that may spur deeper thought into the reason for their present problem.

I do this in hope that my clients will personally reflect on making some possible changes in their life to shift how that person is both perceiving their situations and reacting to them, because tainted perceptions and auto-reactions are key problem initiators, as is going against your own inner truth, especially when you know what that truth is.

But if the person then returns to life as usual, and doesn’t do the reflection and make the life adjustments in perception and reaction—or being true to who she or he is as a loving and compassionate person, then nothing really changes for them.

What I want to make completely clear to anyone is that there really is no such thing as a cure all—a one-trip solution to any problem, nor a magic potion that transforms someone’s life instantly and miraculously into exactly what that person wants it to be.

There are NO panaceas. That’s not the purpose of having a life on Earth.

Believing in life panaceas is like buying into the old “Snipe Hunts” of our youth: they don’t really exist. It’s just a ruse to get you out into the dark night with adolescent hormones running amuck.

Changing your life for the better takes a lot of reflection (meditation and journaling) and redirection (defining your goals and developing action plans to achieve them).

When you hear that “Life is a journey, not a destination,” there is truth and falseness to that claim. The truth is that over the course of your life you will try many things, attempt many relationships, and learn a lot about yourself and everyone around you. That’s the journey aspect—what you learn along the way.

The falseness of the statement is that Life actually IS a destination. You came here from higher-frequency spiritual dimensions to experience being alive in a human body and to amass greater comprehension and awareness during that brief process. You came to expand your consciousness. So, actually, your present life IS your destination this time around.

As for the elusive panacea to all your life’s problems, personal, social, and cultural, there is only one thing I can think of that might be considered close to it: Learning to love everyone, including yourself in all your imperfections, inadequacies and unfulfilled potential. We all have them. I think you’ll find that when you are happier with yourself, you can be happier with others.

So if there actually is an elusive one that exists—the one lone Snipe in the bush—then the only panacea that I know of, is LOVE.

Strangeness and Normalcy

Strangeness seems to be the norm now.

That’s not really a pleasant thought, but evidence in my own life and the world around us all point to that as a likely truth. Things are just plain strange everywhere, including within us at present and that seems to be how it will continue to be, for the unknown future— annoyingly strange.

boy and web of lifeFor me it’s very hard to get used to driving along the highway and out of nowhere (and for no reason that I can discern), a scene with characters from my distant past flashes right in front of my vision…just a flash….along with the memory’s emotional intensity for that single second, ….and then I see the road again. I mean, THAT is a real head-shaker, not to mention quite a distraction driving in traffic at 65mph.

I don’t know how all of you are handling this daily strangeness and other odd aspects perhaps more suited to your own situations, but I find the continuing “old-memories-surfacing-for-purging” thing to be quite a challenge. This cleansing phase can’t be done soon enough for me. I’m even starting to wonder if this is like a “your entire life passes before your eyes after you die” thing? And if it is, did I die and not know it?

Well, if I did die, I’m certain that there are better ways to spend my afterlife than going after a truckload-of-compost for the garden today …that’s for certain. Hopefully it smells a lot sweeter there than at the compost facility, wherever THERE is. So with that fragrant realism maintained, I’m guessing that I’m still alive.

And if strangeness has become the new norm, then strangeness should actually become less strange, not more so, by the day, shouldn’t it? I mean, when everything is strange, then something that is “not-so-strange” stands out in comparison, right?

Pretty soon we can say upon arriving at home after a day’s work, “It was an unusual day today, dear. Nothing strange happened. I just didn’t know how to handle that.”

But I’d like to try.
