Still Stuck in a Past-Lifetime?

I was listening to a presenter who does some of the same hypnosis aspects that I offer in my own practice—“Past-Life Exploration” and “Life-Between-Lives” experiences.

The presenter was gently explaining to a pltrauma.jpgconfused caller that sometimes the opinions of others might not be as helpful as we wish that they were; and here she was referring to a previous therapist who had told the caller that “she was still stuck in a ‘7-lifetimes-ago’ situation that she could not break out of in this lifetime”.  Hopefully she misunderstood her therapist because that statement was of course, not quite true.

I agreed with the presenter’s response to the misconstruing of what was actually happening to that caller: Whatever you are exploring in this lifetime may have tentacles or energy patterns to other multi-verses and parallel (or past) lifetimes, BUT where you are right now is NOT really about that previous life experience—not at all—you are NOT stuck there in that particular situation—this life experience is all about you recognizing those similar patterns of behavior that you may have exhibited back then (7 lifetimes ago?) that you may be demonstrating AGAIN in the NOW.  You may be stuck in an energy pattern that keeps repeating for you until you clear it, but as for being stuck in that portal windowprevious lifetime itself—NO!  The lingering energy pattern may have originated there in the PL, but you are not actually stuck there in that lifetime.

You are HERE NOW being provided the opportunity to CHANGE that similar pattern of behavior to something more productive for you in your current situation. When I hypnotically take someone to another lifetime, it is to better understand a present-day issue, and to try and heal traumatic energies associated with what might have been created in a past/parallel life situation that still resonates in the present life. Seeing and actually re-experiencing those past-life scenarios with the cast of players who were present then provides the ultimate “example” to a client of how those unproductive patterns of behavior will eventually play out in your present life if you don’t change those same behavior patterns.

I’m sorry if I’m being unclear about any of this, but it is so hard to comprehensively explain much of this more complex stuff that I write about in this blog because one subject is often interconnected with another, such as: Past-lives, Parallel-Lives, Spirit-World—while all within the context of our physical-reality experience—let alone applying them to the concept and context of possibly living in Virtual Reality or HSdatabase of plSimulated Reality, where the applicability of those subjects would make more logical sense. (But to even consider that VR or SR possibility of what our lives may actually be is to threaten our ego’s very existence. And that never goes over well with the EGO, so it often refuses to even consider it.)

And I know that it is sometimes hard to conceptualize the multi-levels of possibility existing to anyone reading this stuff that I write about here. Some folks may get it and some don’t. That’s fine. (If it resonates with you, the words are meant to help spur you to exploring your true potential, period. I don’t have to hard sell anyone on anything.)

But to this particular caller who was a bit upset about what her therapist had erroneously told her about her past-life experiences, I would say that no matter what dramatic situation you may have explored in any dimensional lifetime, you were only playing a role. You may have played the role of pauper or Prince, beggar or banker, mother or child, male or female, warrior or peace activist, brother or enemy, no matter the setting—all of those drama-exploration packages were merely roles that you played in those situations—real or imagined. We play those roles to learn all we can about the human potential for creation and awareness expansion, and to learn the nuances and power of our emotions (which are energy frequencies) that we explore in those lifetimes.

Learning in its purest sense, is actually stimulus/response data accumulation for training purposes, and that’s what the High Self specializes in. It is the database repository of all lifetime experiences. When I take a client to a previous life experience, I simply ask their High Self to show the client the most appropriate PL example at this time so the client can better understand his/her most-pressing current-life issue. The client’s High Self controls the entire show in my sessions—I don’t. I only ask questions to guide the client through the experience itself.questionsfrom pl.jpg

Unfortunately when some people are told that they have played some particular role in a previous existence (I prefer a client experience it directly for themselves—I never TELL THEM anything about their experience—they tell me what they are seeing, hearing and doing), the current ego steps in and ‘stakes a flag’ in the old drama claiming the role itself as the most significant aspect of the entire exploration. But actually, it really doesn’t matter the role that you played in whatever drama production ran at the time, it only matters what you learned from that other-lifetime role to advance your current spiritual evolution.

If you’ve had a Past-Life Exploration, and you suddenly realize that you are still dealing with similar relationship situations in the NOW and manifesting those same reactive behavior patterns that proved so hazardous to you in the more traumatic past-life, then it’s a good heads-up to the need to change your present-life behaviors to something more advantageous to your present-life survival. (i.e.: Yes, pulling the tiger’s tail can be hazardous to your health.)

THAT is the sole message to take from the PL experience—if I don’t want to keep doing this same thing life after life, motherterrasathen I better change my attitude and behavior so I “get it right this time” and avoid any future replays of this unpleasant energy pattern. That is ALL it means.

But to change a behavior pattern takes not only a certain degree of self-knowledge, it also requires you to take back your power to make those changes for yourself—which is often what much of our life lessons entail.

Many of our life situations are less about fighting with others through power struggles, and far more about learning the nuances of self-control and self-empowerment so you don’t have to fight with others.

Self-knowledge, self-empowerment, and creating the reality you desire with your every thought and emotion (electromagnetic light-wave frequencies)—these are the subjects that I write about, and they’re all connected, lifechallenges.jpgbecause these are the real life lessons we must master, no matter the lifetime that we experience, and no matter where that “life” actually occurs.

Energy Shifts Now

lee harris 3.jpg

Lee Harris just did a John Burgos interview talking about the energy shifts that we all are experiencing now. I like his psychic intuitive aspect—it feels very harmonious with my sensing abilities.

Lee claims that manifesting your desires is a bit harder at present with these massive upgrades shifting us higher. We are changing so fast that what we create in our lives is having trouble aligning with our fast-shifting personal vibes—it’s like a focusing problem—a frequency discrepancy that is almost auto-correcting our actual needs to be more focused on the moment or being more ready for the future us that we are growing into who is less materially anchored to the old patterns of this world.headshot.jpg

He says there are greater differences in our lower and higher self now—more emotional energy in the lower of course, but the inner discord is really becoming pronounced because of the collective disharmonies and disruption. It’s time to step back and allow yourself to feel what you are feeling but recognize that the energy of that situation is a clearing of sorts for you. That energy needs release—it needs resolution—it needs to simply go because it can’t rise along with our higher-frequency selves as we raise our personal vibration to match the higher-frequency person we are becoming.

An example: For me, patience is a problem, as is tolerance of other’s behaviors that I find irritating or offensive—including my own. Lately I’m constantly trying to not-react.  My temper is tied to my ego’s importance—I do understand this and am continually pulling myself back from reactive mini explosions.  But in doing so, I know there is a caution to not stuff the anger energy as that creates resentment and festering wounds that later explode with far more devastation than the mini eruption might have originally.

Now is a time for self-observation, assessment, acknowledgment of the moment’s feelings, and release of the reactive energies that no longer serve us. And like the Dr. neural pathways.jpgJoe’s Ted Talk explanation from a couple posts ago, when you can do that you create the brain’s new neural pathways of action to move toward who you wish to be—more compassionate, more tolerant, more loving and less judgmental.

As a longtime energy worker (REIKI), I can say that stuck energies create all kinds of mental, emotional and even physical problems for people. Karmically stuck energies can last lifetimes because it attaches to your outer energy matrix which is your personal pattern of earth incarnations that provide you with the very attracting situations necessary to release that stuck karmic energy.

With hypnosis, I take clients into past-life experiences to explore the original wounds in a previous life that are creating the present life problems they are having such difficulty pastlife 6.jpgresolving, so I’m speaking from many levels of professional experience here—energy worker/hypnotist/intuitive.  I’ve personally seen it for myself—I’ve been there with the client guiding them through those situations.

First and foremost, we are beings of energy. For the earth-based experience that overall energy solidifies into a material vehicle that carries and “acts-out” this energetic pattern that defines us. At present, there is so much of our life experience as energy beings that can’t definitively be explained—much of the experience we have glimpses of but have trouble fully understanding—and some explanations we speculate on depending on our own professional focus. That’s why there are so many different treatment methods to try to help people with their various problems.

whatyouthinkis.jpgEverything in our life experience is a matter of perspective and approach—what you see—what you believe to be true—often is. That’s why I keep repeating that what you think, IS, because we create our own life experiences—we create the very tests this earth-based vehicle needs to work through our own energy issues—our own karmic debts and energy disharmonies, because we learn by doing.

The hard part is in recognizing that marvelous learning opportunity at the time, because it isn’t usually a pleasant experience when a “learning situation” explodes in our faces—especially ones that we have created for ourselves.

Yes. … (Long sigh.) …Mea culpa.

So Many Lifetimes, So Little Peace

Wouldn’t you think we’d get it right about the 20th life experience ipast lifento it instead of being midway through 10,456 previous/simultaneous lives and STILL working on our same old issues?

This is one of the most difficult aspects for me to understand when I’m conducting past-life explorations with clients, or even in considering my own multiple lives throughout time and non-time. This question:

“Don’t we ever get it right once in awhile so we don’t have to keep doing this same unpleasant lesson-stuff?”

Evidently not, for most of us.

  • What does it take to finally “prove your worth” to yourself and to your personal deities?
  • How many grad-courses in “suffering” or learning “unconditional love” do we really need?
  • And how many times over the course of eternity must we experience this replay of human emotions versus untenable circumstances?

In Buddhism or Hinduism, being freed from maya (the “great illusion” we call reality) is the ultimate goal, as is liberation from the Samsaric Wheel of Life, Death, Rebirth. Here’s a little Wikipedia explanation of it all:

Buddhist wheel of lifeSaṃsāra (Sanskrit: संसार, Tibetan: སམསར, Wylie: khor ba, Standard Tibetan IPA: [kʰoːwɔ], Sinhalese: “සංසාර), is the repeating cycle of birth, life and death (reincarnation) as well as one’s actions and consequences in the past, present, and future in Hinduism, Buddhism, Bon, Jainism, Taoism[1] and Sikhism.

According to the view of these religions, a person’s current life is only one of many—stretching back before birth into past existences and reaching forward beyond death into future incarnations. During the course of each life the quality of the actions (karma) performed determine the future destiny of each person. The Buddha taught that there is no beginning to this cycle but that it can be ended through perceiving reality. The goal of these religions is to realize this truth, the achievement of which (like ripening of a fruit) is moksha or Nirvana (liberation).”

So I guess that means if we are still here doing our thing, we haven’t “self-realized” enough to liberate ourselves from having to continue to “do our thing” here on earth (and in other realms and places).

For myself, what I’ve noticed when conducting a past-life exploration session for anyone is that prior to the session, I always ask the person to have a particular “issue” in their present life that they would like to explore further during the session (something that isn’t working well for them, or something that continually bothers them, or a problem aspect that shows up in their relationships, etc.). Then during the deeper part of the hypnosis journey, I have the person ask their Higher Self to SHOW THEM lives that can help them better understand why that same issue is still replaying for them.

The client then walks through a doorway into a very different life showing different examples of the same present-life issue. We explore it thoroughly, then I ask for a second lifetime, and the client gets another completely different life—different time period—different setting—even different gender at times, and “the issue” then replays in a different way.

Again, I ask for a third life, and the client gets another example, completely different time, place, and people—all with little life-dramas exploring the many facets of that same issue—from all sides. The weird thing is that I think I could just keep asking for another life example, and I believe the client would just keep receiving them.

(And for the record, if that client came back next week, and asked about a DIFFERENT issue, they would get completely different lives and quite different examples. It’s pretty amazing.)

So from my point of view, having conducted the sessions, and in turn had some conducted on me, I guess I want to ktree of lifenow “When is enough, enough?”

According to the tenets of Buddhism and Hinduism, you are freed only when you can recognize the illusion of living and have no need to explore the issues further.

I guess my point is “How many more lives do we really need to find peace within us and to no longer need the personal drama perpetuating around us?”

Maybe I should have the client ask their Higher Self to show them examples of being perfectly at peace and feeling completely and unequivocally loved.

I suppose there might be fewer of those lives.
