Where Are We?

wherearewequote55.jpg

The “WE” here refers to ALL of us as humans; and we are a diverse group.

We are gender-determined for species propagation purposes, but not limited by gender for all other purposes.

We are perpetual social studies in dichotomies: We are darkness and light, cruel and kind, selfish and selfless.

And right now at this moment in time, we are here—wherever that actually is in our human consciousness evolution.wherearewestopsign45.jpg

But WHERE exactly is that here?  Where on this evolutional consciousness-progression are we?

With all the vocalized hatred spewing throughout the airwaves, I’m finding it hard to determine the exact location of that group consciousness “WHERE” we might be.

I mean it should be pretty simple to determine, shouldn’t it, just by answering a few key question, like:

  • How do we want our world to be…for ourselves, for our families, for our neighbors, and for our brothers and sisters throughout the world?
  • How do we personally want to live—in loving acceptance of others or in constant fear of them?
  • How do we really want to consider others—as friends and comrades in this large group endeavor or as enemies competing for every earthly resource and every inch of ground?
  • And how do we ourselves wish to be viewed—as reliable, good people and trustworthy associates to others, or as unscrupulous, conniving predators eyeing any opportunity to advance our own agenda?

I could easily rant and rage here about our present state of world chaos but it’s senseless to do so, because unless each of us determines for ourselves the best possible solution to those “HOW” questions above, nothing in our lives will change for the better.

camefromwombquote.jpg

Are we simply WHERE we are meant to be both individually and as a group collective as determined by fate alone?

Or are we merely hiding our heads behind multiple daily distractions allowing others to make those necessary world changes for us—allowing others to make the key life choices for us?

Are we really that apathetic or deluded to believe “others”—particularly power-hungry, political others with their own personal agendas—really have our best interests at heart, so we will let them determine our lives for us?

We, as a species and a world culture, have such potential for greater overall heightened awareness and better understanding of each other’s unique attributes, gifts, and educational value to the larger human group.

And at the same time we have such innate tendencies toward shallowness, self-interest, and pettiness.

The chaotic world we know at present is the result of choices we have previously made; and the world of tomorrow will be the result of choices we have yet to make.

betterpersonquote67.png

Be present.  Be here NOW.

Be aware that the choice you make today to BE the better person in your own life and in the lives of those around you makes the difference tomorrow in our every earthly endeavor.

When you allow darkness to perpetuate through hate language or fear mongering, and you say nothing against it—when you say nothing to STOP IT—you are allowing it to spread like cancer throughout your own life and the lives of those you most love.

At some point where we are will no longer be an unanswered question due to the present inclination for so many of us to avoid those hard decisions to prevent hatred from consuming us.

It will likely remain unanswered because we as a species will no longer exist to ask it.

Technology Similes to Better Understand Life

The last few decades of technological achievements have provided numerous chipforbrainblue77.jpginnovations to ponder.  New information and new ways of living our lives are now aspects of current cultural and social advancements that previously were only considered as the subject matter of science fiction novels.

And likewise, we have new ways of ‘understanding something completely new’ by comparing it to something vaguely familiar—something already existing.  In writing that ‘understanding a subject better by comparing the unfamiliar to that which is familiar’ using the words “as” or “like,” is called using a “simile.”

This matters WHY?

Well I’ve been reading Paul Selig’s trilogy Book of Mastery (Book I), Book of Truth (Book II), Book of Freedom (Book III); and I find that the subject matter described within is seligbooksandvibrationtextmore easily comprehended because of my existing beliefs in multi-dimensions, multiple-lives, energy work, etc, along with my minuscule knowledge of computer-related technology.  It is the last consideration that I’m using for this ‘simile material.’

Prior to perhaps three decades ago when average households began their meteoric acquisitions of personal computers, most of us had no concept of such things as virtual realities or databases, and especially no comprehension of electronic communications systems.  (Hard to imagine, I know.)

But way back then, multi-function calculators were considered “high-tech” devices, and everyone owned a land-line or had to use a public phone booth to call anywhere.  How many of those are still around?

So now that these relatively NEWER electronic marvels are considered common fare and the latest and greatest innovations are often conversation fodder in daily office banter, our personal understanding of “all things possible” has risen sharply over the last three decades primarily because of how fast our electronic technology is advancing, and with that advancement our understanding what was once incomprehensible, becomes blasé faire.   bookofmasteryselig5.jpg

However, back to Selig’s book series and how this all relates.

The subject matter described in Selig’s trilogy is actually what I have been blogging about for the last few years: The ability to shift our frequencies higher to tune into a higher reality—a higher consciousness, and live a more loving and compassionate life in the process.

With the rise of Virtual Reality games and movies, that mind-stretching has allowed most of us a glimpse into considering the possibility that the life we are presently living is as illusionary as the VR game that we are playing with our electronic devices.

And with this consideration in mind, that also means that this life we actually do live is changeable in a positive way if the “collective consciousness” of our time can shift all our attention out of the ‘fear and hatred frequencies’ and into the higher frequencies of lovingness often called Christ Consciousness or Buddha Consciousness, or even simply called enlightenment.

We use those well known and well documented human comparisons of Christ- and Buddha-behavior to help the masses comprehend that softer/gentler attitude and mode of behavior necessary to achieve a higher frequency collective shift.  We refer to those known masters who highercomnsciousnessblue55best demonstrated what that loving kindness attitude and behavior is, was, or could be. We use them as examples—similes for depicting the highest standards of loving kindness because it’s pretty hard to relate to a non-descript ‘something’ called a “frequency.”

The importance to consider here is far less about the personage—the myth—the story of the teacher or human model (like Jesus or Buddha), and more about the higher FREQUENCY of consciousness that those models attained and adopted to reach that level of loving kindness for everyone and everything.  Once those consciousness masters successfully shifted their own personal awareness, they shifted everyone and everything around them as well by simply holding that higher frequency within themselves, because when your direct connection to SOURCE is that strong, you simply radiate that higher frequency to all around you.

And when the frequency that we personally hold rises to that higher level of lovingnesss then the world around us begins to shift higher because it has to match the frequency that we collectively hold.  I think the point of the Selig series is in learning how to shift your own thinking and behavior into that higher frequency Christ-/Buddha-consciousness range.

(For more on the frequency levels of consciousness subject, eyeoftheeyehawkinsyou might want to read Dr. David R. Hawkins’ The EYE of the I, from Which Nothing Is Hidden. Hawkins focuses on tying all awareness into light frequencies and calibrating the consciousness levels between the general masses and the great avatars/teachers who reached that state of extreme expanded awareness. I’m not certain I agree with everything he says, but he gives a thorough explanation of the multiple levels of light frequency consciousness per his theory.)

Anyway, the Selig books may be of interest to some so I’m mentioning them, and I do think I’ve noticed a shift upward in my own thinking since I began reading them—not so much that this subject matter is new territory for me to consider, but that holding that consideration so strongly for longer periods of time, is helping me to stabilize the concepts in my mind and to “think” from those view points and SEE life in a more clear, unbiased manner because of them.  Or that’s just my opinion and/or delusion.

The main simile of importance here is the one on comparing this life to a Virtual Reality game where you choose your scenario and your actions during the game. If you stay in the ‘fighting and killing games,’ it’s pretty hard to raise your frequency into loving kindness.lifeasvrgame58.jpg

So maybe it’s time to choose a new Virtual Reality scenario for all of us to explore.  This ‘fighting and killing thing’ is going nowhere good for anyone.

Thoughts on Our Mortality

Seeing the image below this morning and the Paramahansa Yogananda quote accompanying it brought my circling-hawk thoughts into sharper focus.

Our Earth

“There are thoughts in the temple of silence too great for our hearts to speak.”

I love PY.  I loved “Autobiography of a Yogi”. It is still one of my favorite books.

I think I even cried at the end of the book, fully realizing that he was no longer with us and how amazingly loving his presence and energy must have been—if now felt only through the words he left behind for us to savor.

There aren’t many authors who can do that to me.

This contemplation of our legacy—what we leave behind for others still existing beyond our limited timeframes—this is an integral component of what I’ve been referring to as the Collective Consciousness of our time. These energies that we hold individually and then collectively together are the sprouting seeds of increased awareness that we use to shift those doings and beings of our world into a higher existence and a higher earthciceroconnected65understanding of how ultimately interconnected we all are.

How each of us conduct ourselves and how we affect others during our finite timelines, are the important legacies that we offer humanity as a whole.

Personally, I exist—I interact—I comprehend—I emote—and if I am at all self-aware, I attempt to understand the entirety of my experience.  Sometimes my existence makes a type of sense to me—and sometimes it doesn’t.  But again, we tend to see what we want to see and believe what we feel the need to believe for our psychological well-being at the time.

Those perceiving and believing abilities are how we are programmed to operate right out of the box—from our earliest point of comprehension onward.  These are the survival tools we use to EXPERIENCE life on this planet.

Throughout my years of survival-existence here, I have lived and loved and interacted with many creatures of this world, as well as minutely contributed to life’s energetic signature for this particular time period.  So in my own teeny, tiny way, I have contributed to the greater collective consciousness by sharing my being (the energies that I personally hold) and my thoughts—which are my personal perceptions and interpretations of this life experience.

That’s what we ALL do. We share our energies and our perceptions with each other because we are co-participants in the collective consciousness of this time.   However, as PY explains…

pypicportaraitoflove.jpg

“There are thoughts in the temple of silence too great for our hearts to speak.”

So when we are unable to verbally describe our shared experience, we simply hold the energy of that deeply connected silence for each other.

This represents the love that we all share, for LOVE is the frequency of PURE existence best felt by the heart.

Be Yourself

thichnhathahn54

“Be yourself. Life is precious as it is. All the elements for your happiness are already here. There is no need to run, strive, search, or struggle. Just be. Just being in the moment in this place is the deepest practice of meditation.”

Thich Nhat Hanh

Before long the humble Buddhist monk, Thich Nhat Hahn, who lived much of his life in exile from his home country of Vietnam, will “transition” from this earth to the spirit plane.

He is 92 years-old now and has been revered by the western world for the last 53 years, since he left his war-torn country and began an extensive tour of the world outside his previously limited domain.

He suffered a severely debilitating stroke in November of 2014 and has been fairly silent ever since. It is reported that he has recently returned to his homeland for his eventual passing.thichbeyourselfquote.jpg

As a mindfulness teacher, Thich Nhat Hahn is credited with popularizing that particular meditation practice in the west—also credited with the “walking meditation” practice that he would demonstrate with his many followers at Plum Village in France.

Over the years I’ve read a few of his books and followed his shared thoughts. He always amazed me with his emotional calmness and unwavering sense of personal peace.

At this writing, he is still with us physically although his health is deteriorating, but he will always be with us in Spirit memory long after his body finally relinquishes this earthly life.

2019 – Year of Beginnings

For this third day of January 2019, my post will be a mix of influences I’ve witnessed since January first.

Lee-Harrispicimage.jpgIt started with an energy update from Lee Harris on “2019 – Year of Beginnings” which I think is worth hearing, so I’ll list it here if anyone is interested:  https://www.leeharrisenergy.com/p/january-2019-energy-update

The gist of it from my notes was that this is the year of elevation (out of the mire of contentiousness and social dishevel).  2012 – 2019 was a 7-year cycle of clearing us energetically.  2019 – 2026 is a cycle of elevation – a brand new beginning bringing with it a lot of momentum and forward movement.  He says to create your personal change powerfully and purposefully. Live life more passionately.  Expect January to be more of the bubbling to the surface of major issues, but February is the beginning of the change—a vocal ‘stand up and speak your truth’ month. This is the time right now to be very clear on exactly what you DO want in your life, as that is what you will call to you now.  Speak your truth and stand up for what is right for all.

So then shortly after seeing the Lee Harris video, someone put through this gorgeous 49301924_2441835785844099_6951581753156829184_n.jpgsnowflake on Facebook that I found mesmerizing along with a quote from Einstein, one of my personal heroes.

“The basic laws of the universe are simple, but because our senses are limited, we can’t grasp them. There is a pattern in creation. If we look at this tree outside whose roots search beneath the pavement for water, or a flower which sends its sweet smell to the pollinating bees, or even our own selves and the inner forces that drive us to act, we can see that we all dance to a mysterious tune..”   Albert Einstein

Quote source: How Einstein Saw the World
https://creativesystemsthinking.wordpress.com/2014/02/16/how-einstein-saw-the-world/

Then the next day “Tao and Zen” on Facebook added another D. T. Suzuki quote that I thought really explains how you incorporate that Zen  perspective into everything you do:

49511253_2446887465338931_7342677059904208896_n.jpg“The idea of Zen is to catch life as it flows. There is nothing extraordinary or mysterious about Zen. I raise my hand; I take a book from the other side of the desk; I hear the boys playing ball outside my window; I see the clouds blown away beyond the neighboring wood — in all these I am practicing Zen, I am living Zen. No wordy discussion is necessary, nor any explanation… When the sun rises the whole world dances with joy and everybody’s heart is filled with bliss. If Zen is at all conceivable, it must be taken hold of here.”   D.T. Suzuki

Zen & the Art of Living Deeply

***

In summary, to me as we start this new year together, I choose to view it as Lee Harris does—that it is a year of beginnings, so let’s stand up and speak our truth and choose our way forward with clear intentions and a strong sense of purpose.

Then as Einstein said, let’s recognize our interconnectedness and the Divine Plan behind our social, cultural, and even personal interactions occurring on this one living planet that we all share.

And lastly, as D.T. Suzuki said, “Be grateful for everything. Observe without judgment. Consume less, create more. Let go of fears and desires. Listen to understand not to respond. Be patient and generous. Love deeply.  Live simply.”

Here on this third day of January 2019, I think those are good personal goals to adopt.

Works for me.

The Return of Primordial Light

Holiday messages are nice, and many received reflect the overall appeal and optimism of the season, no matter the faith.rbuckminsterfuller67-2x.jpg

I am not religious. I do not follow or prescribe any particular recognized religion.  But I write about the many aspects of spirituality that personally appeal, because to me spirituality means our personal connection to the energies around us and from which we have emerged. And that is how I relate to all of those different religious philosophies.

buckyuniverse68.jpgYou can call those philosophical energies “Universe” as Buckminster Fuller did, or you can call them The Tao as ancient Chinese philosophers did, or you can call them God or Yahweh as Judeo-Christian traditions proclaim, or you can simply call them the Transcendent Still Point of All Being.

Whatever you wish to call them, many believers feel especially close to key tenets of those religious philosophies this time of year—sending peace, love and good wishes to all.

I would say that the philosophy of the Shamanic tradition is a very nature-based, direct connection to life and the cosmos we inhabit, and as I watched that beautiful full moon setting outside my window on this winter solstice, I gave thanks for the view and for my part in the whole of this present earth-based drama. A few days ago Alberto Villoldo of Four Winds Society, sent out his winter-solstice, holiday email to all who subscribe. I found it pretty appropriate to our current situation, so I’ll share it here.

“From the bottom of our hearts all of us at the Four Winds Society want to wish you a holy and joyous Solstice on December 21, 2018.

We invite you to light a candle or a small fire in your backyard and join medicine men and women around the world who are gathering on the evening of the Solstice to pray for the “return of the Light.”villoldoenergyquote

This is not the ordinary daylight we all wish we had more of in the Northern hemisphere (and a bit less of in the South), but the Primordial Light.

Primordial Light is the creative power of the Universe which is available to us to create beauty in the world, and to heal ourselves and others. But to work with Primordial Light we must remember the way of the luminous warrior. We must live and act fearlessly, know the answer to “Who am I?” and the ways beyond death into infinity.

Like the shamans of old, we are luminous warriors. We dare to speak the truth, uphold universal values that honor all life, and perform daily acts of courage.

This is so important in this age of cowardice where half-truths are readily embraced as real.

We wish you the strength and steadfastness to continue creating the sacred every day and dreaming a new and healthy world into being.

In Beauty,    Alberto, Marcela, and the Four Winds Society team.”

And to that I would simply add that during this holiday season and throughout the year ahead, be at peace no matter the circumstance, be love no matter the degree of hatred all around you, be as courageous as you were always meant to be, standing tall in the midst of such cowardice in our governing bodies—stand tall and speak your truth.

This is what we do—this is who we are. We, as Luminous Warriors of Divine Primordial Light, welcome the return of the Light—the return to TRUTH as a Universal Standard for governance.

truthbuckyquote56.jpg

Blessings to you and yours, and may the year ahead be full of love and laughter for all of us.

Let’s make it a good year for everyone!
