A World Mid Change

Lisa Brown.jpgI was listening to an excellent webinar yesterday by Lisa Brown, energy-worker/psychic/medium/someone who really knows the subtle fields of energy, and finally heard someone who is completely in tune with what is actually transpiring in the energies around us—in tune with what is happening to us—in tune with what it really means to us if we pay attention to these overpowering energies. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DQZx17f3Tcw&feature=share )

After awhile, she began describing the strangeness I had personally been experiencing lately:  The sudden visual distortions, the flashes of movement in my peripheral vision, the scenes with full audio suddenly playing in my quiet mind of someone’s daily life that doesn’t correspond to mine, the really strange dreams—the “Am I going nuts or what is really happening?” general daily experiences of this life for me of late.

And she explained it slowly, deliberately, and with enough corresponding evidence toshifting human.jpg make sense. We are mid dimension shift…from a lower frequency world to a higher one. Meaning that if you can shift your consciousness high enough you simply cease to view reality in one dimension and view a different reality…a world and players who vibrate/emanate at a higher frequency than the world you previously experienced. Whatever frequency you can tune yourself into and hold in your awareness; that is the world you will experience. But doing so is a choice we must all soon make.

Of course this isn’t going to be an explanation that everyone wishes to believe—and of course also, this isn’t going to be believed by those who can’t personally experience the energetic changes underway.

From the moment we, as babies, were able to hold conscious awareness of our surroundings, those who directly interacted with us told us what the world was like beyond our fingertips. If we saw or perceived something a bit different than their stories of what the world was like, we were corrected and told to view it differently—more like how ‘the cultural collective’ perceived the world to be.

frequency headWe were trained to see the world a certain way—trained to believe the world acted toward us in a certain manner—trained to believe that our perception must match what others perceived, or something was wrong with us. Many who saw/felt/experienced something other than the cultural collective’s accepted perceptions were sent to psychologists and psychiatrists to be retrained in how to perceive the world that we shared.

But personal reality and the collective’s reality weren’t always in lock step with each other—in decades past it was simply less accepted to have a different personal reality than the collective.

What is happening at present is that the collective itself has shifted high enough to shake the boundaries on what is considered the norm of perception. There are enough of us who are energetically enhanced to say, “Hey wait a minute—just because you can’t see what I see doesn’t make me wrong in seeing it.” Psychic and medium shows are standard fare now, and it took those perceptual differences to go mainstream for energy sensitive folks to be willing to stand up and stand out for their enhanced perceptual abilities.vibe frequ explain.jpg

When enough of us can perceive and hold a higher-frequency reality for the smaller cultural collective who are more energy sensitive, then the smaller, higher-frequency collective can shift into a higher dimension of existence.

However, this isn’t an elite club.

It simply means that what you focus on is what you perceive in and receive from the world that you inhabit. Like Dr. Pillai in the previous post saying basically the same thing, except he was trying to appeal to people’s material greed and emotional commitment to creating the wealth and abundance available with such a focused mind and conscious attention to obtaining that goal.

higher see.jpgSame principle here—construct in your mind the most beautiful, peaceful and loving world you can imagine and hold that world constantly in your perception—see that world around you—focus on only those aspects of the world you desire and call it to you—that is how you shift your energies higher and maintain that focus throughout your every day and night.

From a more personally pragmatic point of view, it means I’ll have to stop writing about the lower-frequency idiocy so abundant in the world we Vibe high.jpgpresently share, and change my focus to higher-frequency subject matter, such as this post.

That’s fine. I can do it.

And so can you.

Training Your Mind

“That’s all you need to do,” he said, staring into the camera lens midst a close up of his white-haired and bearded face. “You simply have to train your mind to create whatever you desire.”train mind.jpg

“You can manifest whatever you wish; it is a matter of commitment—it is a matter of focus.”

“Change your belief system to see the possibility, then the likelihood, of abundance and wealth whenever you desire it.”

Okay.  Most of this I do agree with—what you focus on, IS.

He continued, “Schreem brzee will give you wealth-consciousness—to change your schreem.jpgnegativity to positivity—from poverty to abundance and prosperity—the sounds have the ability to change your mindset.”

In essence, the sounds only set the stage for wealth consciousness to materialize rather than actually pull the magic slot-machine lever for you.

Again, he continued, “Skillsets will come because once the wealth-consciousness is there, you will begin to look around you for opportunity to create abundance and wealth in your life.”

Ah …okay. So in other words, it doesn’t fall from the sky—you have to change yourself—your mind, to always think about creating wealth, and then find ways to bring that thought to manifestation. You actually have to do some work to make it happen.

“You cannot manifest that which you cannot conceive.” He taught this to Wayne Dyer, he said.pillai

The speaker is Dr. Pillai, and I’m beginning to wonder why I am still listening to him, but so far, I keep hanging in there waiting for those GREATER TRUTH nuggets.

“The sound will change the structure of your brain. (Schreem Brzee). It is a technique—a technology for changing the brain. Every thought changes the structure of the brain.”

Well, I don’t personally know if what he claims about the mantra sound is true, but the part about refocusing your attention and changing your mindset to allow those wealth-consciousness thoughts to change the structure/pattern of synopsis firing of the brain, I think is possible. To that I can agree.

Then I thought: What’s wrong with me?  Do I NOT want to be wealthy?  I mean, isn’t that what he is offering? Why am I so skeptical?

The problem is that my mind keeps replaying the same question I have about Dr. Pillai’s focus:  Why didn’t Yogananda or Muktananda or Ramana Harshi, those other great swamis whose words I’ve studied go into depth on this “wealth-consciousness” stuff?  If that is so important to TRUTH in general, why weren’t they discussing it openly and making that their focus?

pill2.jpgAnd he might be totally legitimate and well-intentioned, but something about this guru and his focus on making money just feels off to me. I mean I do understand that this approach is a good marketing gimmick, and he likely can pull a pretty good audience with promises of creating wealth using a mantra and your spending lots of time saying it.

I even understand how he talks about changing your mindset to focus on what you want to manifest in your life. I agree with that part.

What I dislike the most, I guess, is the energy I feel exuded by him when I watch and listen to him. He seems to give off a disgusted vibe—a vibe like ‘I do this because I have to do this’ not the vibe that it energizes him with joy and love for saying what he is saying.

You know, he might actually be helping folks to shift their thinking to more positive, creative thoughts—maybe using the wealth-creation subject as a-means-to-an-end sort of thing, but something about the manner that he is employing doesn’t feel genuine to me. But then, maybe that’s just me.benjamins

Anyway, just saying.

Schreem Brzee away, I guess.

The Path of NO-Path

My life, and all of ours if we are attentive, is humorously synchronistic where I am constantly reminded to never take myself too seriously.  This morning the Universe presented me with numerous addendums to my previous post—all of which came through some fine “focal points.”

focal point.jpg

“You are not IN the universe, you ARE the universe, an intrinsic part of it. Ultimately you are not a person, but a focal point where the universe is becoming conscious of itself..” ~Eckhart Tolle

Ramana quote.jpgThe late great Sage Ramana Maharshi proclaimed that the final truth consists of the fact that there is no path, nor any such thing as progress. In other words, Reality is not some sort of attainment to be gained by a progression from state to state.

There is no final, triumphant union to be attained, because there never was any separation from the no-beginning. There is simply the unfathomable expanse of spontaneous presence, pure unborn awareness, regardless of any intermittent mental content which might appear in that sphere of being.

Recognizing the empty nature of both the dreaming as well as the dreamer is consideredRamana M.jpg by the sages to be liberation, though paradoxically, there is nobody being freed or bound. There is simply awakening to that which has always been the case, even as we daydreamed.”

“So then, here’s the drama. My metaphysics, let me be perfectly frank with you, are that there is the central Self, you could call it God you could call it anything you like. And its all of us. Its playing all the parts of all beings whatsoever everywhere and anywhere.

Alan Watts.jpgAnd its playing the game of hide and seek with itself. It gets lost, it gets involved in the farthest out adventures but in the end it always wakes up, and comes back to itself. And when you’re ready to wake up, you’re gonna wake up. And if you’re not ready your gonna stay pretending that you’re poor little me.”

Archetypes and Metaphors

Referring to my Aug. 5 post: “We Do Not Yet Understand,” I had that avatars theme looping through my noggin yesterday.

The concepts of archetypal symbology coupled with the words “LIFE as Metaphor” kept archetypesslipping into the avatar scenario playing in my head. To me, archetype theory is a very important subject.  I’ve been fascinated by C.G. Jung’s theories on archetypes for decades.

Caroline Myss also provided a great exposition on the subject in her own book, Sacred Contracts: Awakening Your Divine Potential. I recommend those reads to anyone wishing to explore the subject further.

sacred contracts.jpgI’ve always felt that there was far greater importance to the archetypes theory than most folks acknowledge, so when all my afore-mentioned thought tangents converged—the archetypes symbolism merged with the avatar imagery while LIFE as metaphor phrase kept bouncing between my ears, I recognized the significance of the union.

Let’s consider that WE are avatar archetypes (set players with a game plan) per Jung and Myss; and as archetypes we are here exploring certain life themes (If you are not familiar with archetypes Myss explains over 70 archetypes on this page:  https://www.myss.com/free-resources/sacred-contracts-and-your-archetypes/appendix-a-gallery-of-archtypes/ ).

Those life themes are the “tasks” we are assigned for this life experience—tasks that create learning situations where we explore our reactions, emotions and thought processes pertaining to how the symbolic archetype that we represent (i.e., victim, warrior, savior, …etc.) views and responds to the potential situation.wheel.jpg

The primary, personal archetype that WE represent would naturally perceive the situation a certain way (i.e., victim/perceives a possible threat, warrior/ perceives a hearty challenge, savior/ perceives the sacrifice necessary to intervene,…etc.).

So how that archetypal avatar (meaning YOU or ME) would react to the situation would be dependent on the clarity and strength of our self-concept besides our own interpretation/perceptual filter of what was happening to us.

But then how does the LIFE as metaphor come into play?

Per www.dictionary.com, “A metaphor is a figure of speech in which a term or phrase is applied to something to which it is not literally applicable in order to suggest a resemblance,…” .

metaphors.jpg

Okay, …but to me, a metaphor goes beyond a “suggestion of resemblance,” it creates a word image packed with emotional residue/personal memories used in the sentence to convey a deeper association to the subject matter than the literal statement can carry on its own. It touches a deeper part of us than the cerebral description can muster.

So when I repeat the phrase LIFE as metaphor, I mean LIFE is far deeper than surface appearance “doings” and is only the superficial representative of a greater implication; or what we do in our daily living is only representative of something we may not be able to comprehend any other way.

LIFE as living metaphor means that our daily doings are symbolic representations of the greater reason that we are here exploring these scenarios as specific archetypal avatars.

We aren’t just players in the Grand Play of LIFE, we are also the directors of the actions and playwrights of the endings.

Our main problem is that we don’t comprehend our multi-functioning capacities in the larger picture.

I asked in the previous posting on avatars what our 7-D SELF gets out of watching our 3-D self struggle around with these challenging situations. I’ll ask it again a different way using a metaphor:

theatre.jpg

What does the playwright get out of writing, casting, directing, and watching his/her play being performed?

Flushing

It was so fitting—so appropriate for the energies of this time period that we are presently experiencing.

money flush.jpgA few days ago our toilet backed up when flushed sending instant panic through me as I watched the water rising ever closer to the bowl rim.  Luckily it stopped before overflowing, but those are the moments when you realize how instantly susceptible to life’s little surprises you can be.

Risking the “too-much-information” explanation, I will say that those of us in rural areas tend to have septic tanks buried out beyond the house perimeter to contain and disperse waste waters, rather than using a city’s sewer lines to which most folks are accustomed.

And those of us who DO have septic tanks know that after a few years of usage, those tanks need to be pumped out (also fortunately there are companies that do that particular septic-tank servicing). Once the storage tank is pumped out, it usually takes care of the “toilet won’t flush” problem.

drain lines.jpgBut occasionally, there are those property owners who can tell horror stories of what happens when their septic-tank, water-drainage lines plug up and have to be re-dug.

Yes, in essence the drain-line trenching firm “reams you a new one,” both financially in your pocket book and aesthetically across your carefully-manicured property. It looks like giant moles invaded your yard digging huge, mounded tunnels extending a hundred feet in three different directions.

Or as I will call it: “Welcome to my Monday.”

But even as the trencher grinds away out there spitting our carefully-coiffured grass into unbreakable clods and large dirt piles, I can’t help but recognize the metaphor playing out before my eyes:  Sometimes our energy bodies are so built up with energy blockages and stagnant memories/emotional triggers that we have a hard time releasing those things that no longer serve us. We have a hard time “letting go” of the wastes that we need to flush out of our minds and our lives.

Right now throughout the world, these are the “blockage-clearing” energies that we are energy cleaned.pngexperiencing globally, regionally, and personally. We’re all energetically getting our pipes cleaned and our drain lines reamed.  And it isn’t usually pleasant to have this done either mentally or physically, but it NEEDS to be done so we can eliminate the toxins from our lives.

The good news is that energetically, this cosmic purifying/purging phase won’t last forever; and that eventually once the wastes are finally gone, we can reset our lives in a new and more productive direction—preparing us for the next adventure, or exciting discovery, or educational experience that helps us to grow in awareness and to evolve in understanding.

new day.JPGBecause that’s the true advantage that proper “flushing” provides us: It gives us a clean, fresh start for the next phase of our lives.

Or as I also will soon call it: “Hello Tuesday.”

ILLUMINATION: Out of the Storm

(originally posted 8.29.2012)

“When you come out of the storm, you won’t be the same person who walked in. That’s what this storm’s all about.”
~ Haruki Murakami

storm.jpg

When I first saw this picture, it affected me on many levels.

Strong symbolism suggests powerful forces at work between earth and sky…with the ocean or sea representing the great unconscious mind radiantly illuminated by cross-currents of electricity passing between the higher cosmos and the land surface (the super-conscious and the conscious mind).

It evokes multiple mental images and even stirs some emotions of fear and awe, of danger and yet witnessing Great Mystery’s jaw-dropping brilliance in super-kinetic motion. Anyone who has ever been through an electrical storm with minimal personal protection from it, knows the excitement and uncertainty of where the next lightning strike may land…near you or not, …always unsure if you will soon become the lightning rod to charge the air molecules around you in one huge burst of unbridled energy or just a smoldering cinder left in its wake.

To me, this picture is a symbol for ENLIGHTENMENT—where the earth-based vehicle (that’s you and me) is suddenly “illuminated” with total consciousness—with total awareness—and super-saturated with Divine Light and energy.

Total awareness and total destruction are both possible aspects of being “struck by lightning” through our direct contact with the Divine. It can be that unbelievably beautiful and that personally devastating at the same time.

So, as Haruki Murakami says, after undergoing such a storm, you will not be the same person that you were prior to it. Because you will have been illuminated,….enlightened beyond your immediate comprehension. You will not see the same or be the same, or think the same, or feel the same,…because enlightenment is direct connection with something so powerful that our small earth vessels cannot contain it—it blows our circuits—it fuses us like copper wire melting during an electrical-current overload.

It forces us to rewire internally: how we think, how we see our lives in relation to others and to the world around us, how we act and react to the daily dramas, to facing down our fears and examining our aspirations under a different context than we had used previously.

When you go through any major storm in life, you come out the other side with a different attitude and shift in perspective on “life storms” in general, and it forces reexamination of yourself on how well you may have handled the situation—what you learned in the process—how perhaps you could have handled it better; or it may give a deeper appreciation for simply having survived the devastatiolightening.jpgn. Major life storms can make you re-evaluate yourself on many levels.

No doubt about it, big storms in life can change you; and yes, as Haruki Murakami states: that IS what they are meant to do.

But with actual illumination and enlightenment, you won’t just be “changed” from the person that you once were, ….you will be recreated completely.  Completely re-worked, completely re-wired. You will see with different eyes, and hear in different ways. You will know that which you never knew before, and with a certainty—an assuredness—that did not previously exist. TRUTH is ever present, wherever you go, whatever you do, whomever you encounter. You will know TRUTH, like you’ve never felt it before the storm.

And you will immediately recognize that you are NOT the same person walking out of it, as the one who had walked in.

You’ve EVOLVED in understanding and awareness because of it.

Taming the Ego

tamer.jpgI’ve never been a passive person.  Even my earliest childhood shyness was often countered by an innate confidence in my abilities, talents, and determination to achieve whatever I truly desired; and I’ve done fairly well over the course of my life. I’ve always had a healthy ego from childhood onward, and I can recognize that it probably helped me through some of the more difficult years, while hindering me through some of the “could have been more enlightened” ones.

EGO had/has its purpose—for me and for all of us—that’s why we are here in earth’s experiential testing ground—to be the individual perceiver/receiver/transmitter of a greater awareness—to be individual satellite sensors of a much Higher Consciousness.

Why EGO matters for this particular post is that I can also recognize how EGO has shaped our perceptions—perhaps even kept us safe in questionable situations, but it has often been the primary driver of our individual actions ego mind.jpgthroughout our lives.

Unfortunately it has also been the chief determiner of many a nation’s political policy and foreign affairs. People in power positions have ruled by EGO far too often. Ego-driven actions means actions focused on personal gain—personal power—and using purely personal concern as the guiding point to any decision.

When people talk about the need to tame our EGOs, they are referring to eliminating the hubris from our interactions—that obnoxious degree of arrogance and self-focus exhibited in trying to reach agreement between two or more individuals.no ego

When it pertains to a nation’s isolationist stance and counter-actions towards other nations, it can be a dangerous determinant because political EGO has no place in world affairs, especially in high-power positions.

But I don’t have to caution anyone against believing the prattle of narcissists or megalomaniacs since those folks usually self-destruct when over-exposed to their own tainted image. It just takes a little time to see it all develop and then run its course.

I merely wish to say that EGO can be a tricky motivator even in Spiritual circles where a few “enlightened” people share thoughts and inspirational guidance with others who are supposedly “less enlightened.”

thActually it’s pretty hard to get the EGO out of everything we say and do even when we think we are being selfless and humble. And it’s hard to not react to others who give us their unsolicited opinions based on their own tainted perspectives and unresolved issues.

So I can easily say that EGO is alive and kicking almost everywhere in today’s world.

Can it really be tamed–one might ask?  I guess you’ll have to decide that for yourself.

I think there is a tremendous amount of self-delusion out there, especially in those who feel they are simply speaking the desires of a Higher Power. And that is a problem.

It’s a problem because there are other, perhaps more-naïve folks who want to believe that someone else might have the answers to their life questions instead of finding them within their own inner counsel.

It’s also a problem because we want so much to trust others and to believe what they say.high self.jpg

But as has been proven to me many times that even those with the Spiritual “IN” are themselves in danger of interpreting and judging rather than providing unbiased information. So who is it you can really trust to give you accurate answers to those issues of greatest importance?

Your own Higher Self.  Just ask.
