The Softer, Gentler Person

At times I wish I were a softer, gentler person.littlegirlkitten (2).jpg

I wish I could look lovingly at what I consider the lesser behavior traits of others and smile with unconditional understanding and acceptance.

I wish I could just acknowledge how much inbred hatred and fear we all harbor for those who appear different than we are, and yet say ‘It’s okay because we are still quoteongentle45 (1).jpgblessed and mutually bound by our hearts to a greater Divine Love that connects us all.’

And actually mean it.

But I know I am not really a soft and gentle person, no matter how hard I work at becoming one.

That’s just not who I am. I’ve been warrior in too many lifetimes. This I know from my own hypnosis, past-life explorations.

Right now in this lifetime, I’m probably as soft and gentle as I’ll ever be, and that’s okay because it’s who I really am. You don’t tame warrior, you learn to redirect it toward constructive endeavors.

I’m probably more like this ornery, ginger-stripped cat who now shares my house, than I really want to admit.  While I often wish that he were more loving and cuddly—more quoteongentle45 (2)like our many other beautiful, sweet cats of the past—he simply isn’t, because that’s just not who he is and it’s not how he will ever be.

He’s a fighter—a tiger—a ‘tear into you with teeth slashing’ little, orange manic that really likes to do battle even against a much larger foe. (Which unfortunately in this house would be me.)

So I guess that despite how I tend to think of his fiercer, less-cuddly mannerisms as character deficits, I do live with the correct animal match for my true personality. It’s just not pleasant to see yourself reflected in your pet house-mate that way.littlegirlkitten (1)

And when he does decide to snuggle in under my chin, loving me up with his raspy red tongue while I cringe and shudder until he quits, I know that this sign of deep affection is his way of showing me his softer and gentler self, if only for a few, brief, peaceful moments at a time.

I AM the Whole

Some days I don’t have to say a thing other than to share what I’m seeing that day.

Mystic Path to Cosmic Consciousness

“Those who have explored (consciousness) have never come back saying they are outsiders. They have not even said that they are insiders, because even an insider is separate. They have come out and declared, ‘Aham brahmasmi!’ — I am the whole, ‘Ana’l haq!’ — I am the one with the cosmic dance, a tremendous rhythm in which you disappear as a separate personality, and you become one with the whole.”

Thoughts on Our Mortality

Seeing the image below this morning and the Paramahansa Yogananda quote accompanying it brought my circling-hawk thoughts into sharper focus.

Our Earth

“There are thoughts in the temple of silence too great for our hearts to speak.”

― Paramahansa Yogananda

I love PY.  I loved “Autobiography of a Yogi”. It is still one of my favorite books.

I think I even cried at the end of the book, fully realizing that he was no longer with us and how amazingly loving his presence and energy must have been—if now felt only through the words he left behind for us to savor.

There aren’t many authors who can do that to me.

This contemplation of our legacy—what we leave behind for others still existing beyond our limited timeframes—this is an integral component of what I’ve been referring to as the Collective Consciousness of our time. These energies that we hold individually and then collectively together are the sprouting seeds of increased awareness that we use to shift those doings and beings of our world into a higher existence and a higher earthciceroconnected65understanding of how ultimately interconnected we all are.

How each of us conduct ourselves and how we affect others during our finite timelines, are the important legacies that we offer humanity as a whole.

Personally, I exist—I interact—I comprehend—I emote—and if I am at all self-aware, I attempt to understand the entirety of my experience.  Sometimes my existence makes a type of sense to me—and sometimes it doesn’t.  But again, we tend to see what we want to see and believe what we feel the need to believe for our psychological well-being at the time.

Those perceiving and believing abilities are how we are programmed to operate right out of the box—from our earliest point of comprehension onward.  These are the survival tools we use to EXPERIENCE life on this planet.

Throughout my years of survival-existence here, I have lived and loved and interacted with many creatures of this world, as well as minutely contributed to life’s energetic signature for this particular time period.  So in my own teeny, tiny way, I have contributed to the greater collective consciousness by sharing my being (the energies that I personally hold) and my thoughts—which are my personal perceptions and interpretations of this life experience.

That’s what we ALL do. We share our energies and our perceptions with each other because we are co-participants in the collective consciousness of this time.   However, as PY explains…

pypicportaraitoflove.jpg

“There are thoughts in the temple of silence too great for our hearts to speak.”

So when we are unable to verbally describe our shared experience, we simply hold the energy of that deeply connected silence for each other.

This represents the love that we all share, for LOVE is the frequency of PURE existence best felt by the heart.

Revisiting “The Law of Attraction”

This morning I was listening to someone’s recorded audio presentation on the BTO Show (probably Sara Landon) Drjoequantumfield56 (2).jpgand she was mentioning that many people may have misinterpreted the higher intention behind the popularized “Law of Attraction.”  Properly utilizing this “law” can indeed provide you with what you think that you desire at the time, but whether or not that desire (often material-based) is truly in your best interest as a learning opportunity for your present earth-based classroom experience, is another consideration completely.

Then a few minutes later I saw Dr. Joe’s take on the same thing and wondered if he was actually promoting the very thing that Sara was seemingly warning against, or was he taking it in a different direction entirely? I don’t think of Dr. Joe as a material-focused guy since he seems to be more focused on helping us create a better, healthier life for ourselves that is more in line with our spiritual pursuits. (Or that is just my personal opinion of him.)

I guess that ‘ultimate intention’ question is for you to decide, but what both people are referring to as the ‘wish-provider, big-box store for your every desire’ is often called the quantum field, or the akashic field, or the ‘field of all possibilities’ per Tom Kenyan, or SPIRIT in general as the creative matrix of all universal consciousness.

Dr. Joe is explaining here that to access and receive the benefits of our connecting into that wish-fulfillment center, we don’t just make a statement of desire or express a desperate need for the desired health rhondaburnesquotelawofa33.jpgchange to occur for us.  He is saying that to attract what you truly want you have to hold the energy frequency of it already existing for you.  It is the elevated, emotional energy charge we hold in our energy field that creates the direct connection for the fulfilled desire to be transmitted to you. He refers to that connection as your electromagnetic signature—what you send out electromagnetically from you, intentionally or not, is what you attract magnetically back to your energy field.  (Example: Think of cat hair magically flying onto your polyester pants as you walk through a room full of cats—if you still wear polyester pants. 🙂 )

It is the electric charge generated by the polyester fabric as you walk that attracts the cat hair hanging in the surrounding air—that is the same electric charge that provides an unwelcome spark from your fingertips when then touching a metal object in a very dry atmosphere.

To sum it up, the affecting events that transpire in our lives can often be assessed in simplistic terms: What you think is who you are. The emotion you transmit from your own personal, energy-generating field is what is magnetically attracted back to you.  This is the key importance of holding higher frequencies of thoughts and emotions in our lives, because what we send out electromagnetically is, for better or worse, what we attract back to us.

“To turn a potential into a reality in the quantum field, you have to combine a clear intention with an elevated emotion. You have to tap into the feeling you anticipate you will have when you manifest your intent, and then feel the emotion ahead of the experience. ⁣

The elevated emotion (which carries higher energy) is the magnetic charge you are sending into the quantum field. When you combine the electric charge (your intention) with the magnetic charge (elevated emotion), you create an electromagnetic signature that is equal to your state of being. ⁣

The thoughts we think send an electrical Signal out into the field. The feelings we generate magnetically draw events back to us. Together, how we think and how we feel produces a state of being, which generates an electromagnetic signature that influences every atom in our world. This should prompt us to ask, what am I broadcasting (consciously or unconsciously) on a daily basis?”

Higher-frequency Emotions

I’ve written previously about holding higher frequencies of energy within us and around us—of being in higher-frequency locations and with higher-frequency friends who help us feel good about ourselves and about being with each other.

I’ve written about Spirit in general as the energy matrix of the universe, and Soul as the energy package that holds a particular frequency of a person or a place.

The driving engines of those intentional, higher-frequency energies are our thoughts and our emotions. Here are a couple views other than my own on the importance of holding higher-frequency emotions.

Dr Joe Dispenza – OFFICIAL NEWS & FAN PAGE

drjoeemotionrise456.jpg

“When you embrace elevated emotions in meditation or life, what you are actually doing is signaling your genes ahead of the environment. The body doesn’t know the difference between an emotion created by an experience you’re having in the outside environment and experience you are creating internally by embracing this new, elevated emotion. So when you embrace elevated emotions and think thoughts that are greater than the self-limiting ones that keep you stuck in the past, your body begins to prepare chemically for the future (because it believes the future is happening now).

These elevated emotions have a higher (and faster) frequency than base emotions, like guilt, fear, jealousy, and anger. And since all frequency carries information, when we change the frequency, we change our energy. That new energy can then carry new information-a new consciousness or set of intentions or thoughts.

The more elevated the emotion, the faster the frequency and the more you feel like energy instead of matter—and the more energy becomes available to create a more coherent energy field, shifting further away from disease and more towards health ( or for that matter, toward signaling the gene).”   Dr. Joe Dispenza

Mystic Path to Cosmic Consciousness yoganandaquotepic99

“Man needs to understand that his own intelligence controls the atoms of his body. He should not live in a closed chamber of mental narrowness. Breathe in the fresh air of vital thoughts and views of other people. Expel poisonous thoughts of discouragement, discontentment, hopelessness…

Feast unstintingly on the creative thinking within yourself and others. Take long mental walks on the path of self-confidence.”      Yogananda

The Invisible Matrix of the Universe

I’ve noticed that my article information sources tend to come in waves. Right now the incoming tide seems to be flowing from Alberto V.  This partial quote was from his standingvilloldo45.jpgJanuary 18th book-hawking email.

Again, I’m not pushing his books, it’s just that he briefly mentions a subject that I’ve often tried to explain—the invisible matrix of the Universe as a living, intelligent field of energy—or what indigenous people commonly refer to as “Spirit.”

“…I learned that there are two magical ingredients to health. The first can only be found in the invisible matrix of the universe─what I call Oneness. The second is the plants that promote health, but do not treat specific disease.

The ancients knew all about the invisible world. In the Hindu Vedas it’s referred to as akasha, or the vastness of space─the field of wisdom that forms the foundation of the cosmos. While Western science holds that the cosmos is made up of dead energy and matter, indigenous peoples consider the cosmos a living, alexgrayehergyfieldsintelligent field they know as Spirit. … “ –  Alberto Villoldo, PhD

Hence we are indirectly referring to the Indigenous ‘animism’ reference in the religion chart from September 21st where the belief is that Spirit—the intelligent, animating force of the universe exists in all things; animals of course, but even in the earth, the air, fire, and the waters of our planet. All molecules of matter and all affecting forces have Spirit within them, and Spirit expresses Itself through them.

So considering this subject matter as more than esoteric lingo, then what is the difinspiritandsouldifference between Spirit and Soul? When you talk about someone’s Soul or the Soul of a place, what is that referring to?

I’ve had this discussion previously with friends and depending on whom it is that you are discussing these subjects, the interpretations are variable. But to me, who is trying to explain this as best that I can, I say the Spirit reference in general pertains to the overall energy matrix from which we emerged and to which we will eventually return.

Spirit is often thought of like the Tao is described—the invisible, intelligent force animating matter, non-matter, and consciousness itself.

But the Soul is the individual energy package that encases ‘the Self’—both lower self (this incarnation) and Higher Self (ALL incarnations), as separate from the immensity of the Oneness.  It represents the individual droplet of water in that vast ocean composed of an infinite quantity of other similar droplets. energymatrix432.jpg

The Soul uses Spirit to exist in whatever form it chooses, material or non.  And Spirit uses the individual Souls to experience greater and more diverse aspects of awareness/consciousness that add to its perpetually expanding database of ALL experience, both imaginable and non.

Can the words be used interchangeably at times?

Perhaps by some folks, but to me they shouldn’t be.

The Soul of a place can represent the larger, enclosed, energy cocoon of that location within the greater matrix of the earth’s energy field.  Some places hold a more positive energy—a higher-frequency vibration—where it feels good and happy to be there, and other places hold a more lower-frequency vibration—one of spookiness, uneasiness, creepiness, or negativity (Some say it feels like evilness).

And just as some individuals can tend to hold their own frequencies either high or low, so can the overall energy of a location hold a certain frequency that makes it feel very good or very bad.  I would refer to that feeling as the Soul of a place—it means the energy frequency that the place holds.

electrofieldblue8 (2).jpgAs you might imagine, battlefields are not high-frequency locations—lots of fear, hate, pain and raging emotions were expressed over that ground and the earth’s energy field can absorb those energy vibrations into its own energy-matrix cocoon; and unless those energies are cleared and released from that location, those energies can still be felt by visiting people who are more sensitive to energy disturbances.

I think we’ve all been in places that have made us feel amazing and like we are flying high; and likewise we’ve been to places that we couldn’t stand to be in for more than a few seconds before we’re bolting for the door.  I know that I have been.

So I would say that the Soul of a place is the energy cocoon of that location—the frequency it holds within it.  Meaning that the frequency of the vibrating energy held by that location’s matrix-cocoon is whether or not the soul of it feels desirable to us or not.

To me, I think of the Soul as more of an energy package, whereas Spirit is not only the universal field in which the package exists, but also composes the creative molecules that creates the energetic web defining the package itself.

Go back to my post on November 27th on leaf perimeters to better visualize this energy package surrounding us.  I went on ad nauseum in that about the energy capillary system in the leaf, but the tree defined the leaf’s perimeter that determined the limits of the water dispersion system within that leaf. electrofieldblue8 (1).jpg

Your Soul defines the energy-cocoon surrounding you, but Spirit is both the environment in which your Soul flourishes AND the composition of the energy strands themselves that nourish your existence in the physical world and beyond.

The invisible matrix of the universe is simply what we call SPIRIT.

Growing a New life

I’m not trying to be a promoter of all-products-Alberto V. My intention here is simply to share possible impacting information with anyone feeling sparked by further interest over a subject mentioned. albertvillo893.jpg

I’ve read most of Alberto’s books, but not all—not the one he mentions here. I like his explanations of energy-related subjects and what some call “neo-shamanism” or modern shamanism, which simply means looking at ancient, indigenous philosophies/life practice perspectives and applying that applicable knowledge to our present society/living environment.  It represents a particular view of life and how we live it that appeals to me in many ways, especially since it recognizes how interconnected we are to all of life, including the earth as a living being herself. That appeals to me.

So to me this so-called ‘modern shamanism’ is a philosophy, not a religion. It pertains to how I view my place in this world, so it reflects more a perspective that I share, than a belief system. I choose to view my life a certain way because of that perspective; and my chosen perception on all those affecting factors in life is how I make sense of what I experience.

That being said, I like to read Alberto V. because he says interesting, thought provoking things. He is a trained psychologist (PhD) and cultural-anthropologist, not to mention all the actual life experiences with indigenous cultures that he has logged over the years. Likewise over the years, his writing skills have helped to shift my perspective on life.

logofourwinds456.pngI do receive his weekly newsletters from Four Winds Society (as can you), and occasionally there are some pretty interesting ones that I mention here. This one appeared this morning, so I’ll share it with you. To me the point of the entire newsletter message is this “…find tools to help them identify and transcend the guiding myths that keep them tied to a disempowering world view, and find a new, more empowering personal mythology that supports their ability to dream a new body and a new world into being.”

“New Mythology for a New World

The right side of the neocortex, the higher brain, operates on stories and myths, not facts. The success of TV series like Game of Thrones, and the Harry Potter books attest to our fascination with fantasy and myth. These affect us at a far deeper level than we realize. From a very young age, we fall under the spell of powerful fables that influence the way we perceive the world and, consequently, the choices we make every day.

The myths of the ancient Greeks centered on the antics of the gods on Mount Olympus and the exploits of heroes like Hercules and Achilles. A classic American myth is the rags-to-riches tale of the self-made man who rises to fame and fortune through determination and hard work. Along with that is the story of the plucky orphan who overcomes a challenging and loveless childhood thanks to her courage, dignity, and winsome charm. Like all good myths, these end in triumph, with virtue rewarded.

The Judeo-Christian traditions have left us with powerful myths that operate in the psyche like computer programs running continually in the background. We’re not even aware of them, but they drive our basic sense of self-worth and our vision of the world, coloring the way we live from day to day.

One of the first Bible stories we learn as children is that of Adam and Eve who disobeyed God, were banished forever from the Garden of Eden, and can no longer commune directly with the Almighty─or with the rivers, rocks, trees, and animals. But indigenous people, whether sub-Saharan Africans or Australian Aborigines or Native Americans, hold no such belief. In their mythologies, they were not kicked out of the Garden. In fact, they were given the Garden and entrusted with maintaining it, as the caretakers of earth.

Another persistent myth we labor under is a belief in evil as an independent principle in the universe. But far more compelling to me is the view that we live in a benevolent universe that will go out its way to conspire on our behalf─when we are in right relationship with it and when the hardware in our brain is able to sustain the experience of Oneness.

The values and beliefs contained in myths are so strong that once you find your personal guiding myth, you feel compelled to change your life to conform to it. Transform the myth and your values and beliefs are transformed─and the facts of your life change accordingly.

Just as the invention of the printing press altered our worldview in the centuries that followed, the world wide web and AI are a transforming narrative of our age. We do not know the new myths that will emerge in the coming decades, but we do know that the old myths have exhausted themselves.

At this point in our history, it’s clear that the human species needs to be more collaborative, creative, and cooperative─qualities that are aspects of the archetypal Mother figure. To bring balance back into our relationship with Mother Earth and with one another, we need to improve on the masculine mythology of domination, conquest, and hierarchical power. And on a personal level, we need to overcome the self-focused, power-hungry, battle-fixated, dominator mindset.

Changing your personal myths requires interacting with familiar stories in new ways so that you can use those energies more wisely. You could revise how you engage with your inner warrior, for example, by giving up judgement toward yourself and others─and reserving your adversarial energy for only the most essential battles and the athletic field.

Readers of my new book, Grow a New Body, will find tools to help them identify and transcend the guiding myths that keep them tied to a disempowering world view, and find a new, more empowering personal mythology that supports their ability to dream a new body and a new world into being.
