When LIFE Gives You Lemons…

You know some folks like lemons, so for them I would assume receiving a sack of lemons lemonsbadquote.jpgwould be a ‘happy’ thing. Think of all those lemonade vendors at the fair.  Surely they’d like a big sack of lemons because FREE lemons would only increase their day’s profit.

So the ‘turn that sack of lemons into lemonade’ cliché is actually a good way to view the gift.

But for the rest of us, we might have to get a bit more creative and work on better appreciating them.

LIFE gives us similar “gifts” all the time—the ones that might seem a bit hard to comprehend their value. (Even if we had actually called those lemony experiences to us to grow our personal resilience and consciousness by working through them.)

I know that I’ve certainly had a few acidic “gifts” myself over the years that were quite a challenge at the time to endure.

However, in a shamanic context, those extremely challenging ‘gifts’ are called “initiations.” It means that Spirit has chosen you for whatever reason, to ‘test’ your inner resilience, to ‘test’ your physical stamina, and to ‘test’ your sheer determination to survive the ongoing shaman initiation by the strength of your WILL alone.

During one of the worst times of my life, to maintain my sanity, I read all sorts of educational material along with inspirational books that helped me to refocus my mind on where I wanted it to be—which was ‘done with that experience.’  I wanted to be in that future time AFTER  I had ‘run the Spirit-test gauntlet’ and had made it successfully to the other end of that particular life challenge.

Back then I even created Spirit-animal art portraits to show my appreciation for my Power-Animal’s help during that grueling life journey.  Today while sorting through some objects on my bookshelf, I ran across one little plaque that had helped me at the time to reframe the context of my awful experience. It was a little decoupaged quote from a Lynn Andrews’ book that I’ll simply share here with you:

“But if you live through the initiations you have become the ultimate alchemist. Your own soul has burned through the agonizing fires of transformation and you become the goddess on earth.

You can heal the mind and heart of the suffering brothers and sisters because you have also suffered. croppedeaglegoldenskyfly.jpg

You can change the sand into gold…

Understand why you were born. Not to hurt, but to heal and to teach.”

Space-Time and Personal Awakening

Despite how it might initially appear, much of what I write about is interrelated.  The subject matter mentioned here is tightly interwoven in ways we are only beginning to comprehend.  All those really deep questions: What is consciousness, sentience, awareness?  What is the nature of reality?

spacetimevillaldo.jpg

Why are we designed the way that we are—born as blank slates to write anew with each interaction and exploration?

Why do we not retain previous-life memories or at least be provided with blueprint guidelines to each new experience?  Wouldn’t we make fewer mistakes if we knew the game plan before we started accruing more mistakes?

Clearly as a fellow human being, I’m still searching for all those question’s answers, as are many folks in this explosive and expanding period of human history.

But seriously, whoever is making these decisions for us to be here, Why are we doing this? Aren’t there better ways of expanding consciousness than to pit each of us against our own ignorance and against each other in this gladiator’s open arena called LIFE?

Why do we keep being reborn into one after another situation where we have to relearn about ourselves/our abilities and how we relate to others?

And as usual, I have far too many questions and too few ‘ABSOLUTE TRUTH’ answers.

But despite that, here are a few short quotes from Alberto’s latest blog post on Space-Time that I found interesting because it’s basically what I do in Past-Life Exploration hypnosis.  The entire article is shown on THE Four Winds website hosting the blog.

Alberto Villoldo explores the Andean concept of Space/Time in this fascinating new blog post:

Posted in Shamanism by Dr. Alberto Villoldo

For the Laika, time is intertwined with space, very much like the concept in physics known as space-time. The shamans call it pacha. It is the basis of the word Pachamama, or Mother Earth, our home in time and space. Since space and time are deeply connected in Andean cosmology, it is not out of the question to imagine that one could traverse time just as one can travel through the landscape. …”

“…For the Indio, the river is a good metaphor for many things, including time. They speak about mysterious currents beneath the surface that can take you back to your birth and beyond, before the moment of your conception and to earlier lifetimes, and to the beginning of time itself. The currents of the river of time do not flow from the past toward the future only. And you do not have to fight the current to swim upstream like the salmon do. You simply must find the right undercurrent that can take you as far back into the past as you wish. …”

“ …He continued: ‘Your personal power is the product of your communion with the Ti (like the Chinese ‘CHI’ or the Japanese ‘KI’). If the Ti is strong within you, and you are unencumbered by your past, you cannot be seduced by the daydream of a different future. Then the past opens up to you.’

I learned with Don Manuel that one can enter the river of time to discover treasures hidden by ancient masters inside the currents and eddies of the past and in the turbulent whitewaters of the future. You could journey to explore the currents of tomorrow to find opportunities for yourself and your village. Once you did so, you could stop searching and get on with the job of creating it with the power of Ti, the Primordial Light.  …”

“ …The Q’ero Nation that Don Manuel belonged to is in some of the most barren and inhospitable land in the Andes. Like the Hopi in North America, the Q’ero chose desolate peaks from which they could observe the machinations of the world and wait for the moment when they would deliver their prophecy of peace. The Laika want to dream the world into being with the power of the Primordial Light—to create beauty and peace where there is conflict and strife.

They are luminous warriors dedicated to creating heaven on earth. They know that scouting the currents in the river of time in order to find beauty is their task in the sacred dream. …”

The Sacred Dream

There are times when simply sharing the inspiring words of others is important.  And yes, I have my favorites—Alberto Villoldo being one of them. I believe his blog is worth reading for its substance and higher truth. (You can access it from the link below; then simply click “BLOG” in the menu to read all of his previous posts.)

“2019 May 21 —WHAT IS THE SACRED DREAM?

https://thefourwinds.com/blog/shamanism/what-is-the-sacred-dream/  by Dr. Alberto Villoldo

BLOG-21-05-19.jpg

The shamans of the Andes know and serve a sacred dream, one that guides planets across the heavens and our human destiny here on Earth. The sacred dream is a map to the future, but has no paths you can follow and no trails other than the ones you blaze yourself. It is ephemeral, changing every instant, surprising you at every turn, as in a dream.

Men and women who serve and protect this sacred dream are known as luminous warriors. They have no enemies in this world or the next. Their resources are vast.

The sacred dream reveals the implicate order of the universe. It is evident in the seasons, in how the bees pollinate the flowers, and in how all living beings are connected and related to each other. With this wisdom, the ancient shamans of Peru bred and crossbred their corn to produce more than 400 varieties of maize; they gazed at the night sky and forecast eclipses decades into the future. Meaning and purpose arose naturally in their hearts because they understood they were part of a plan much greater than they.

When we become aware of the sacred dream, we recognize that the universe is not made of dead rocks hurling through space, of lifeless energy, or of the dark matter of science. Instead, we understand that the cosmos is pulsing and conscious, longing to create beauty, birthing blue-green planets, spiral galaxies, and more than 20,000 species of butterfly on our earth.

Each one of us is given a fragment of the sacred dream to hold and express in our own way. When we forget that we carry an essential and necessary part of the sacred dream, our lives begin to spiral into disarray, our personal dreams become nightmares, and our lives descend into chaos.

Many people have replaced the sacred dream with a dream of fame and fortune, power, and Facebook likes. Meanwhile we are facing global crises—from climate change to species extinction to war, famine, and disease—all of which are calling us to dream a new dream for ourselves and the world.

The sacred dream is calling us, inviting us to awaken from the slumber we are living in and dream with our eyes open so that all the possibilities of the future are available to us.

A sacred dream encourages you to explore the mysteries of life and of love, to glimpse a reality beyond death and discover a timeless truth for yourself. It demands that you act boldly and courageously, and not collude with the consensual—that which everyone agrees on and no one questions—even though it is a popular story that traps us in daydreams that become nightmares.

How do you know when you have found a sacred dream? Because it is much larger than you, and it feels impossible to accomplish all that you hope to achieve. A sacred dream launches you on a mission, as it did with Martin Luther King Jr., and Mahatma Gandhi. “But I am not Gandhi,” you might say. True, you do not have to set a goal to lead a billion people to freedom. But what if your destiny is to do something far greater than you have imagined until this moment?

When you find your sacred dream, the creative power of the universe—known by the shamans as Ti (Primordial Light)—becomes available to you to create beauty in the world, and to heal yourself and others. Like the shamans of the Andes—the Laika—you become a luminous warrior. You live fearlessly, know the answer to “Who am I?” and know the ways beyond death into infinity. You dare to speak the inconvenient truths, uphold universal values that honor all life, and perform daily acts of courage.

The practices of the luminous warrior are essential in a time when dreaming happens only when we sleep, where cowardice is honorable, where hindsight seems wise, and where spirituality is spineless. They help us craft a destiny infused with courage, and driven by vision, to bring light and peace to our world, and to find our part in the greater sacred dream of humanity.

In future blogs, we’ll discuss the practices of the luminous warrior—and the importance of awakening from the misguided dreams of security, permanence, and love that is unconditional.

The Quantum Field

“Based on my knowledge and experience, I believe there’s a self-organizing intelligence that is energy, and it is observing all the universes joequantum field quotr.jpg and galaxies into order. Sometimes people say to me that this idea seems a bit unscientific. I always answer with the same question: What happens after an explosion-order or disorder? Their answer is always that that disorder results. Then I ask: so why after the Big Bang, which was the biggest explosion ever, has so much order been created? Some intelligence must be organizing its energy and matter into form and unifying all the forces of nature to create such a masterpiece. The intelligence, the energy, is the quantum or unified field.”  Dr. Joe Dispenza

“Transformation of Consciousness”

“The materialistic consciousness of our culture is the root cause of the global crisis.. Our whole civilization is unsustainable. And the reason that it is unsustainable is that our value system, the consciousness with which we approach the world, is an unsustainable mode of consciousness.” —Peter Russell

ionsconsciousnesstransformationmodel

“Both individuals and the western ‘financial success driven’ society as a whole seem to find themselves in a situation described by Joseph Campbell as “getting to the top of the ladder and finding that it stands against the wrong wall…” Our very nature is far more caring, loving, and empathic than we have been educated to believe.” —Daniel Christian Wahl

“Csikszentmihalyi believes that the next big evolutionary change in human consciousness may simultaneously acknowledge the self as separate from and fundamentally interconnected with the complexity from which it emerges. The individual, its culture, and the natural environment are simultaneously differentiated from each other and united into a larger complexity.”

“We are at the cusp, I believe, of an epic shift into a climax global economy and a fundamental repositioning of human life on the planet. The ‘Age of Reason’ is being eclipsed by the ‘Age of Empathy’. The most important question facing humanity is this: Can we reach global empathy in time to avoid the collapse of civilization and save the Earth?

“The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes … but in having new eyes” – Marcel Proust

Nassimseyeproustquote.jpg

Join Nassim Haramein and an international team of Resonance Science researchers on this voyage of discovery. The Resonance Science Foundation team invites you to explore and engage with us as a whole new phase of our growth and service in the world begins with a new website at a new domain:

resonancescience.org

“The name of the Foundation comes from our fundamental concept of resonance, a physics term in which energy (in the form of waves or vibrations) both reflects from and causes other objects to take on the same energy. For example, if you hit a large gong, other similarly resonant objects will also pick up that energy and start to ring. Similarly, if we resonate in our beliefs together, we will each share and grow that energy. And taking the concept even deeper, unified science shows that the concept of resonance is intertwined throughout our entire universe, and that these interconnections can be harnessed to uplift humanity, our planet and our universe.”

Technology Similes to Better Understand Life

The last few decades of technological achievements have provided numerous chipforbrainblue77.jpginnovations to ponder.  New information and new ways of living our lives are now aspects of current cultural and social advancements that previously were only considered as the subject matter of science fiction novels.

And likewise, we have new ways of ‘understanding something completely new’ by comparing it to something vaguely familiar—something already existing.  In writing that ‘understanding a subject better by comparing the unfamiliar to that which is familiar’ using the words “as” or “like,” is called using a “simile.”

This matters WHY?

Well I’ve been reading Paul Selig’s trilogy Book of Mastery (Book I), Book of Truth (Book II), Book of Freedom (Book III); and I find that the subject matter described within is seligbooksandvibrationtextmore easily comprehended because of my existing beliefs in multi-dimensions, multiple-lives, energy work, etc, along with my minuscule knowledge of computer-related technology.  It is the last consideration that I’m using for this ‘simile material.’

Prior to perhaps three decades ago when average households began their meteoric acquisitions of personal computers, most of us had no concept of such things as virtual realities or databases, and especially no comprehension of electronic communications systems.  (Hard to imagine, I know.)

But way back then, multi-function calculators were considered “high-tech” devices, and everyone owned a land-line or had to use a public phone booth to call anywhere.  How many of those are still around?

So now that these relatively NEWER electronic marvels are considered common fare and the latest and greatest innovations are often conversation fodder in daily office banter, our personal understanding of “all things possible” has risen sharply over the last three decades primarily because of how fast our electronic technology is advancing, and with that advancement our understanding what was once incomprehensible, becomes blasé faire.   bookofmasteryselig5.jpg

However, back to Selig’s book series and how this all relates.

The subject matter described in Selig’s trilogy is actually what I have been blogging about for the last few years: The ability to shift our frequencies higher to tune into a higher reality—a higher consciousness, and live a more loving and compassionate life in the process.

With the rise of Virtual Reality games and movies, that mind-stretching has allowed most of us a glimpse into considering the possibility that the life we are presently living is as illusionary as the VR game that we are playing with our electronic devices.

And with this consideration in mind, that also means that this life we actually do live is changeable in a positive way if the “collective consciousness” of our time can shift all our attention out of the ‘fear and hatred frequencies’ and into the higher frequencies of lovingness often called Christ Consciousness or Buddha Consciousness, or even simply called enlightenment.

We use those well known and well documented human comparisons of Christ- and Buddha-behavior to help the masses comprehend that softer/gentler attitude and mode of behavior necessary to achieve a higher frequency collective shift.  We refer to those known masters who highercomnsciousnessblue55best demonstrated what that loving kindness attitude and behavior is, was, or could be. We use them as examples—similes for depicting the highest standards of loving kindness because it’s pretty hard to relate to a non-descript ‘something’ called a “frequency.”

The importance to consider here is far less about the personage—the myth—the story of the teacher or human model (like Jesus or Buddha), and more about the higher FREQUENCY of consciousness that those models attained and adopted to reach that level of loving kindness for everyone and everything.  Once those consciousness masters successfully shifted their own personal awareness, they shifted everyone and everything around them as well by simply holding that higher frequency within themselves, because when your direct connection to SOURCE is that strong, you simply radiate that higher frequency to all around you.

And when the frequency that we personally hold rises to that higher level of lovingnesss then the world around us begins to shift higher because it has to match the frequency that we collectively hold.  I think the point of the Selig series is in learning how to shift your own thinking and behavior into that higher frequency Christ-/Buddha-consciousness range.

(For more on the frequency levels of consciousness subject, eyeoftheeyehawkinsyou might want to read Dr. David R. Hawkins’ The EYE of the I, from Which Nothing Is Hidden. Hawkins focuses on tying all awareness into light frequencies and calibrating the consciousness levels between the general masses and the great avatars/teachers who reached that state of extreme expanded awareness. I’m not certain I agree with everything he says, but he gives a thorough explanation of the multiple levels of light frequency consciousness per his theory.)

Anyway, the Selig books may be of interest to some so I’m mentioning them, and I do think I’ve noticed a shift upward in my own thinking since I began reading them—not so much that this subject matter is new territory for me to consider, but that holding that consideration so strongly for longer periods of time, is helping me to stabilize the concepts in my mind and to “think” from those view points and SEE life in a more clear, unbiased manner because of them.  Or that’s just my opinion and/or delusion.

The main simile of importance here is the one on comparing this life to a Virtual Reality game where you choose your scenario and your actions during the game. If you stay in the ‘fighting and killing games,’ it’s pretty hard to raise your frequency into loving kindness.lifeasvrgame58.jpg

So maybe it’s time to choose a new Virtual Reality scenario for all of us to explore.  This ‘fighting and killing thing’ is going nowhere good for anyone.

“The Garden of Forking Paths”

oOA netflix34.jpg

Ah yes, mid Netflix show, that quote caught my attention enough to write it down: “The Garden of Forking Paths.”

The show was “The OA” and it was spoken in an early episode of season 2.  And if anyone follows that particular series, you are open to considering multi-dimensional theory and the eternity of the Soul in its pure-light state that simply “samples” life in many different roles and many different settings throughout collective consciousness timeframes.

I assume the woman they call OA is the Divine Incarnate reference to the Alpha and the Omega, except it is reversed so that she is known as ‘the ending and the beginning’ (the Omega and the Alpha).  She is the Eternal One with self/True Self awareness—she is the aware and intentional traveler between or among all transitory lives.

multidimensionallivinglives56.jpgNow in theory we all travel many journeys and live many diverse lives throughout the created construct of TIME.  We ALL walk ‘the garden of forking paths.’  It’s just that most of us aren’t aware of doing more than one life at a time while staying within the parameters of that life experience.

OA had the option of shifting out of one life and into another but finding “the cast of players” seemed to be similar in those different lives. It’s just that few cast members remembered the others from one life to the next.

But, and it’s an important BUT, … she eventually realizes what happens in one life affects all other lives and affects all other participants in those other dimensions. Which means that whatever issues are resolved in one life, resolve smoothly in the other lives, and whatever issues remain unresolved prior to that person’s death in that life, are left to the other lives to resolve the issue in order to free the ‘karma,’ if you will, of all the original issue’s participants.

I know it seems complicated in a way, but to me who actually guides hypnosis clients through their own “Past-life Explorations,” it makes perfect sense; so I enjoy the interesting theories and subject treatments that this series explores.eternalone456.jpg

“The OA” isn’t a ‘warm and fuzzy’ nighttime tale, but it is a thought-provoking exploration of how we move through life in different situations with diverse and even life-threatening challenges; and how we confront shadow issues in ourselves and in others.

I thought season two of “The OA” took it to an even higher comprehension level.  And I applaud the writers for that.   Good stuff!  Well done!

The Pretend Life

Lately there has been a running theme from a variety of info sources that I follow, on the importance of our being able to shift our skewed life perspectives and to welcome positive changes into our lives.positivechangeheats.jpg

During this tumultuous time for our nation and the world, not to mention in our own personal lives, I think it is important to consider what these folks are really saying about how we tend to view events occurring around us, what responsibility we all bear for allowing those events to transpire, and even more importantly, how we can shift our perspectives on any event to not allow it to emotionally affect us.

The only thing we do control in many situations is how we REACT, including how we REACT to difficult personal interactions or how we REACT to group decisions to which we personally disagree.

I will be the first one to say that NOT reacting is hard—at times VERY HARD.  But I also know that powerlessworeact.jpgwhen you can be triggered to lose your cool over any issue, either large or small, you have just given away two key personal-power stances: One, is that you’ve allowed another person or situation to pull you out of your higher-frequency energy posture and down into lower-frequency fear/anger-based thinking; and two, once your triggered reaction is achieved and you are about to explode back at them with an angry retort, you have just shown the other person or group that you are easily manipulated to their bidding simply because you can’t control your own thinking and emotions.

Dr. Joe is taking it a little further here. He is saying that the more you let your reactive emotions control you, the more you tend to believe that outside forces control your life. When this pattern of reactivity to external forces keeps reinforcing itself in your mind and bio-chemically within your physical body, it creates patterns of behavior and reactivity to every aspect of your life.

The more you condition yourself to respond to life in a certain manner, the more you reinforce that personal view where you see yourself as a ‘victim of circumstances IN-Life-is-ten-percent-what-happens-to-you-and-ninety-percent-how-you-respond-to-it..jpgbeyond your control,’ rather than the more accurate view of your having a choice and say in every decision you make that affects your life even if the most important choice is one of NOT REACTING to a stressor or an emotional trigger.

He takes it one step beyond by saying that our present perspective on life is based on past reactivity to any situation, that makes it ‘past-situation tainted’ and also means that perspective is likely untrue to the actual affecting influences of the present so that we cling to a view of our present lives that isn’t even accurate:   “The latest research on memory says that 50% of what we talk about in our past isn’t even the truth. So, we make stuff up about the past. People are reliving a life that they didn’t even have just to reaffirm that they can’t change

For all of us, there are events constantly occurring to us and around us. But what matters most to our personal wellbeing and mental health is how we see ourselves in truthful relation to those events, and our willingness to CHANGE personal behaviors that may skew our existing life perspectives.

Dr Joe Dispenza – OFFICIAL NEWS & FAN PAGE

The stronger the emotion you feel from some event drjoedis456in your life, be it a betrayal, or a trauma.  The more altered you feel inside of you, the more you pay attention to the cause outside of you. The brain takes a snapshot. It freezes an image and embosses that pattern neurologically in the brain. That’s called a memory. We create long term memories from strong emotional events. ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
Some people have stronger experiences in their life, and it catches all of the brain’s attention. So now they think neurologically within the circuits of the past experience, and they feel chemically within the boundaries of those emotions.
⁣⁣
⁣⁣
How you think and how you feel creates a state of being. The problem is that if you don’t know how to mediate or control your emotional reaction to that event, and you keep that refractory period of chemicals going on for standard periods of time that event produces a chemical change, and the body needs to return back to homeostasis or balance. But if it can’t, then the elongation of that emotional reaction for days or weeks is called the mood. You keep firing and wiring the same circuits, and you keep conditioning the body into the past.
⁣⁣
⁣⁣
So then you wake up in the morning and you look for the emotion. Now, all of a sudden you keep it lingering for weeks or months. That’s called the temperament. You keep it going on for years on end. That’s called the personality trait.
⁣⁣
⁣⁣
So then a person then is memorizing themselves by living in the past. And then you say to them, ‘well, tell me the story.’
⁣⁣
