What Do You Want In Life?

It’s one of those days when Ionestrangerock234.jpg simply let the Universe present me with whatever I feel needs to be mentioned at this moment.  I was originally just going to highlight an outstanding National Geographic documentary on Netflix called One Strange Rock.

(See the trailer here: https://www.bing.com/videos/search?q=one+strange+rock+netflix&view=detail&mid=B8CF815A849FCE482960B8CF815A849FCE482960&FORM=VIRE ).

It is narrated by Will Smith along with numerous astronauts whose perspectives on our beautiful, blue planet were drastically shifted once they were in space. Their insights are truly mind-blowing.

The cinematography is absolutely astounding in this series–you could watch it for that alone; and the astronaut’s explanations on the Earth’s interconnected ecosystems and biosphere may radically affect how you view the Earth as well.  Life is a question of balancecarefully controlled balance of all interacting ecosystems—from the long-traveling sands of the Sahara to the Amazon rain forest’s biodiversity to the living ocean’s diatoms to icy glaciers breaking off and falling back into the sea. Pretty amazing how this planet’s life sequence unfolds.

Then of course I open Facebook to today’s installation on philosophical thought from a few of my favorites and I had to mention their posts:

Dr Joe Dispenza – OFFICIAL NEWS & FAN PAGE

drjoewhatyouwantfromlifeWhat do you want in life? Take the time to answer the question.

As you begin to contemplate and think about the answer to the question, you’re changing your brain. When you make your brain fire in new sequences and new patterns and new combinations, that’s the beginning steps of changing your mind.

Decide on the emotions you’ll feel when you’ll begin to create that future. Teach your body emotionally what that future’s going to feel like. Don’t get up until you begin to feel those emotions. You have to decide what emotions no longer belong in your future. That means if you want to be wealthy, you can’t take lack. If you want to be healthy, you can’t take insecurity or fear. You got to begin to condition your body to a new mind. If you do this every single day, your personality creates your personal reality, and your personality is made of how you think, how you act, and how you feel.”  Dr. Joe Dispenza

Life’s BIG Surprise

surpriseblast89 (1)

What is that BIG surprise? We all want to know this.

Will it be a pleasant surprise or a not-so-much one?

How will we feel when we receive it?

Happy?  Excited?  Shocked?  Horrified?

Well that’s why it’s a surprise because you have no idea what sudden “awakener” will drop on you from out of the blue.  It could even be a bit of space-junk that managed to clear combustion in the atmosphere and crashed through your new, just-paid-for roof and into your livingroom.

You were simply sitting at the kitchen table munching on your second spoonful of Cap’n Crunch, and “BOOM!” –the next room explodes with crashing furniture and plaster dust; and stunned you walks into the disastrous aftermath to see a steaming chunk of rocket debris where your coffee table once stood.  SURPRISE!emojisurpriseface

Yes, you’ll definitely have an unusual conversation piece for your next social gathering, but you might need to rearrange a few things to accommodate it—although the new natural skylight in the ceiling is an added bonus you hadn’t previously considered.

I think most of us try not to think about LIFE’s next BIG surprise because like the mock scenario above, some of our previous ones weren’t necessarily pleasant; and you can insert your own example here. I know that I certainly have mine.

But through that underlying anxiety of whatever LIFE suddenly “bestows” upon us without our knowledge or permission, we know that surprises are simply another aspect of LIFE. We learn through surprises.

We learn mainly about ourselves and our resourcefulness/resilience by having to work through their unanticipated debris-field afterwards.

Surprises either make us happy, or they make us stronger.  But we never let surprises break us.

So I vote for happy future surprises.happybabysurprised.jpg

But hopefully I’m well-prepared mentally and physically for whatever might occur instead because after all, that’s simply LIFE.

And if you haven’t seriously considered the possibility of a sudden “surprise” occurring for any of us, then perhaps you should consider it, because, you know,  …SURPRISE!

The Science of Change

Speaking of change: Welcome SPRING!   With the winter that we and many others in similar northerly locations have endured, a change to warmer weather is deeply appreciated.

So I can applaud CHANGE right now, and I imagine that this exuberant change-anticipation is what caught my eye in Dr. Joe’s scienceofchangelogolatest post where near the end he mentioned “the science of change.”

Really?  There is such a thing?

I know he was pushing a new webinar on changing how you think, which likewise affects the body’s ability to heal and replenish itself; and his focus was to help people shift their thinking to create more positive outcomes in their lives.  I know this, and of course, yes, he does make money doing these things. It isn’t all altruistic. And I’m not pushing it, but if you are interested here’s the link: ( Dr. Joe: “We are doing a webinar on March 22nd to share the science of change and how you can implement this formula into your professional career. To sign up for this webinar click here: http://www.drjoedispenzawebinar.com/two-step-order ”)

BUT… also in the post he was emphasizing the stand-alone importance of change itself. CHANGE simply means a disruption in status quo—a difference in sameness—a divergence from a habitual path—a sampling of newness—a variance in monotony—a more expansive way of seeing, etc..  For the most part he was saying that if you want to change your life for the better, you have to willingly break old habits to do that.

However, the word ‘change’ actually means ‘no longer the same.’

And the most potent reason for change is our unhappiness with the current situation or pleasure pain barometer of change.jpgcondition. It goes back to that ingrained pleasure/pain barometer that rules our lives. If some action feels ‘good’ you keep doing it, and when it doesn’t feel ‘good,’ you are more likely to change what you are doing trying to get back to that ‘GOOD’ feeling again.

That ‘GOOD’ feeling can be called homeostasis—the body’s state of equilibrium—the harmonic balance in body chemicals and body function where the muscles relax, or it’s the emotional calmness of being not too high or not too low—that ‘Goldilocks sentiment’ of it feels ‘just right.’  It’s not exactly a bliss-state but it’s not like a light depression either. It is more like feeling mildly calm and pleasant, but not excited or giddy.

pleasurepainquotewater.jpgHomeostasis is basically just feeling a degree of satisfaction with the current condition as it is, because if you enjoy your life as it presently is, you are less enthused to change any aspect of it.  The ‘need for CHANGE’ decree that pounds away in our temples and often prevents our sleeping comes when we are unhappy about some aspect of ourselves or our lives.

So to say there is a “science of change” is to imply that these human motivations and behaviors have been seriously studied and there is documentation existing on that subject.  Being curious, I checked, and the National Institutes of Health does indeed have a behavioral psychology approach to this “science” called the Science of Behavioral Change:  (https://commonfund.nih.gov/behaviorchange/)

“The Science of Behavior Change (SOBC) program seeks to promote basic research on the initiation, personalization and maintenance of behavior change. By integrating work across disciplines, this effort will lead to an improved understanding of the underlying principles of behavior change. The SOBC Program aims to implement a mechanisms-focused, experimental medicine approach to behavior change research and to develop the ratdrawbehaviortools required to implement such an approach. The experimental medicine approach involves: identifying an intervention target, developing assays (measures) to permit verification of the target, engaging the target through experimentation or intervention, and testing the degree to which target engagement produces the desired behavior change.  “

***

After reading that description, I do wonder if they are dealing with actual people or merely ‘things’ because they call the participants “targets.”   Now I bet Dr. Joe doesn’t call his workshop participants “targets.” That’s probably why he has such a large human following, and likely why most people hate going to psychologists.  But that’s my personal opinion, and I digress.

changecompass67In finally closing, I will say that CHANGE is simply an aspect of our lives. We deal with it daily. It isn’t something to fear or to dread. But it does require a shift in how we consider change as affecting our lives.

When you can look at change in your life with curiosity and wonder what this new day will present you to explore, then you can realize your true evolutionary potential for maximizing this life experience. It just requires a change in your perspective on how you view your life.

SEE with new eyes.  HEAR what you’ve not before heard.  TASTE the gamut of sweet, sour, bitter, and saltiness. FEEL with sensations so acute that a gentle breeze ripples across the expanse of your awareness.  And SMELL life in its fullest fragrance wherever you are.

perception definiti43.jpg

These are your tools of perception while you are alive. You can use them to change your life for the better if your present situation isn’t so pleasant.

But again, that is your choice. How you actually view CHANGE is up to you.

Change simply means ‘no longer the same.’   And really from day to day, who is?

Elevation

leeharrisenergy765.jpg

“Higher harmonics, elevated love, and abundance shifts.” That is the Lee Harris energy message for February. (If you want to hear it: https://www.leeharrisenergy.com/february-2019-energy-update )

Here’s a short paraphrase of the content: He claims greater quantities of light are pouring into the earthplane now—higher frequencies of light saturating us and every experience that we all share.  When we as individuals can match these higher frequencies penetrating all aspects of our life, we will feel more aligned to lovefrequency34.jpgour life’s purpose, more naturally in the flow of all that transpires to us and around us, and will notice more positive transformation magically occurring in our life on a more permanent basis.

He said this last seven years has been a resolution time for old planetary karma, and now many new people being born at this time are not coming into this life burdened with old ancestral karma because much of it has been resolved and shed.

This is a time for new beginnings, new awakenings, and new intentions for a better life for all.

Sounds great, eh?  What’s the catch?

Well, you have to be willing to let go of your old non-productive habits, relationships, and modes of thinking to allow the higher frequencies to shift your life for the better.

Hmmm.  Being creatures of ingrained habit and all, how likely is it that we can do this?  That’s a very good question.

What I’ve personally noticed is that lately I seem to be changing—how I look at people, situations, and relationships has changed from even a year or so ago. I just SEE things differently now—I just FEEL differently about being around people in general or participating in the emotional roller coaster of hearing someone else’s life-drama replayed on the phone.  If you call me and that’s what you want to talk about—all your trials and tribulations, quite honestly…I just don’t want to hear it.

Is that selfish of me?  Maybe.  Or maybe it’s more real than I’ve ever been in my life.  Maybe I am seeing with greater clarity now knowing that I can’t really solve anyone else’s dilemma other than my own. Their drama is THEIR drama—please don’t try to make it mine.

williamsonshiftinperceptionsIf they called, I would only suggest that they shift their perceptions of the situation to better see what they are not presently seeing; and I doubt that would go over well anyway, so why bother with my listening to all of it?

Even worse than this isolationist’s attitude I now seem to exhibit, I also notice feeling irritation seeing someone on Facebook lecture others on how to live their lives or interpreting for them what some incident means in the greater scope of things. Have I done that same thing myself at earlier times?  Very likely I have …but I can’t do it now.  I can’t even stand to see others do it.  One of our greatest misperceptions as adult humans is that we think we know more than we actually do.  And we are darn proud of that acquired ignorance because we’ve invested all these years cultivating it. I mean, age has to count for something besides grey hair and wrinkles, doesn’t it?  Exactly!

And if anyone out there has ALL the answers to every person’s life questions, please step forward because I don’t think that you DO exist.  I think that YOU think you exist for whatever reason your ego tells you is valid. But I think people have to figure these things out for themselves, and THAT is the main reason that they are here in this incarnation, so the less that I interfere with them, the better they are and the farther they go toward figuring out their own situations.  That is my present opinion of personal interactions and relationships.  In other words, if you want to talk to me, don’t whine about your life!vibratehighfreq87.jpg

So do I agree with Lee Harris that the energies are shifting higher and everyone is changing? In a sense, yes.  And he also said in the video that change doesn’t come easily or without some blowback or fallout in our lives. And to that I would also agree.

Is it going to be all ‘hearts and flowers’ with these new, higher-frequency energies?

Only if the greater light that brings increased clarity to all aspects of our life means that we can truly become the higher beings we were once put here to be: with no more pronounced victimhood, no more resentments, no more jealousies and fear of others.

Can we elevate ourselves to be better people for each other and to be better, more conscientious residents of the Earth?

I truly hope that we can. And it may be that very HOPE that leads to our elevation.

The In-Between Time

There is a feeling one gets the day after Christmas (if you aren’t in the shopping mall) that allows one a bit of contemplative pause 2019imqge34before considering the possibilities of the new year only one week away.

Were this not the Age of Trump, this week might be full of joy and wonder and speculative potential for wondrous new things. But since it is the Age of Trump, we are filled with dread, uncertainty, and a pending sense of doom with thoughts of how dumbshitchristmascall.jpgmuch damage he can do in one short week with the government shut down and no one around to stop him.

I mean how stupid do you have to be to hold a Christmas Eve photo op of him talking to 7-year -olds about Santa Claus coming, and to say on national television: “Are you still a believer in Santa? Because at seven it’s marginal, right?”

Right.  It’s marginal Mr. President.

“Mommy, what does marginal mean?”

Well there goes a future prospective voter. Why on earth did the White House communications people think that putting a misogynistic, narcissist with no sense of empathy or humanity on national television speaking live to an impressionable female child about the plausibility of Santa Claus, was a good idea?presdienthomealomne5

Especially  Mr. “I’m HOME ALONE in the White House (poor me).”   Now there’s a Christmas message of hope and goodwill to all. (They rushed Melania back from Florida after that one.)

Don’t consider that the stock market took the biggest dive in December since the Great Depression, primarily because of Trump’s irrational behavior and tweeting—threatening to fire of all people, the Federal Reserve Chairman for raising interest rates.

MATTISflagsgenDon’t consider that firing the one buffer (Secretary Mattis—Defense Department) we had to keep Trump from starting a nuclear war or giving Vlad the keys to the White House, just scared the crap out of not only us but our allies around the globe.

Don’t consider that he makes national and foreign policy changes not on his Presidential Advisor’s opinions, but on the advice of FOX News consultants Ann Coulter and Rush Limbaugh (Is Hannity on the outs with him now?  I thought HE ran the Presidency.)

Don’t consider that Senate Republicans are likely soiling their drawers now wondering how they are going to actually handle the aftermath of all this Trump-created mayhem because it’s squarely in their laps for letting him do what all he’s done to date.

And the Democrats take over the House January 3rd.  Won’t that be a fun time for all!subpoena-forcongress.jpg

Watch those subpoenas fly—see those criminal investigations launching for the heavens like a new rocket to the moon.

Welcome to Washington—oh no, there will be no welcoming committee to Washington DC because the government is SHUT DOWN due to his latest temper tantrum!  Oh yes, that’s right.

So, during this time between your Christmas Cheer aftermath and your New Year ahead optimism, try to keep your head from exploding, stay away from the booze, and by all means, shut off the television. There’s nothing good for you on there now.

Trust me on this one.Washington DC Capitol Government Shutdown Text

T-Baby Tours the Pampas

Pretty exciting times right now for the world’s most illustrious leaders. The G20 is meeting in Buenos Aries today to discuss the fate of the entire planet, and our favorite inflated, orange blowhard is there to see how many nations he can insult, dismiss, or push out of the way as he fights for air time.

And air time he will have!  Lots of hot air there as T-Baby tours the pampas!

Multiple Realities within Reality

Been listening to the one astrologer that I do listen to, Kaypacha, kaypachelescher4.jpgthis morning.  (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I_cXUPpJr24&feature=share )  I rarely miss his weekly energy report to help me understand ‘what the heck’ is going on around me—especially when everything seems to be so chaotic, like it is now.

When things get crazy in the world I can often feel the energy instability vibrating within me—like I am a tuning fork that starts sympathetically vibrating to the tone of another one near.  It’s very hard to hold your own vibration when such powerful disruptions are toning all around you.  So I like to hear if he is picking up the same thing with an astrological reason for it, or if it is just my own sensors that are being triggered by my immediate environment.

This morning he confirmed that it’s a pretty disruptive energy time for all of us; and then maxresdefault.jpghe talked about a subject that I’ve mentioned prior about how each of us perceives, reacts to, and lives our own version of reality that is slightly skewed from the collective reality the group agrees to adopt.

To be specific, late in the video he talks about how individually we create our own subjective reality which is then at times in conflict with our group shared reality. Then he asked ‘Which reality is more real, and which is less real?’  Good questions.

If YOU are feeling a particular version of REALITY, how can that NOT be real for you, eh?  Exactly.

Well those simple but complex questions were fairly pertinent to what I personally had been experiencing lately, both in my own life and with my friends’ concept of reality veering slightly from my personal version.  percep-vs-reality

When you have friends who also are energy sensitive and are into various forms of energy work themselves, then gathering together with them and discussing THAT group’s shared reality can be quite a trip. It can be hard to even agree on the parameters of that group’s reality experience because each of us has slightly different sensing abilities (clairaudient, clairvoyant, clairsentient, natural medium, …etc.)

Our group discussions make for an interesting afternoon, for sure.

But the one question I had at our last gathering is still bothering me, because when “reality” becomes so fluid and malleable for someone that they begin to drastically differ from the group version—especially THAT group’s version, is it cause to be concerned for that person?

To this question I would say unequivocally, YES.  I had, and still have, a concern for one of our group members at our last gathering.psychotic-break-poster-300-dpi.jpg

It is possible to get so “out there” in one’s concept of reality that one can break completely from the collective reality.  And it can be extremely traumatic for the person experiencing that break—which is often called a “psychotic break.”  And that traumatic break is cause for concern, and often requires a medical professional’s help.

Here’s the definition of psychotic break from the online medical dictionary: “Psychosis is a symptom or feature of mental illness typically characterized by radical changes in personality, impaired functioning, and a distorted or nonexistent sense of objective reality.”

That “objective reality” is the group agreed-upon version.

To continue: “Psychosis is a loss of contact with reality. It usually includes: Delusions: False beliefs about what is taking place or who one is. Hallucinations: Seeing or hearing things that aren’t there.”

Well, when you are psychically gifted like many of my friends are, you often see things and hear things that many folks don’t.  So there is such a fine line between recognizing your innate psychic gifts and not veering too far out into the ‘realm of all possibilities,’ because that realm does exist.

Right now, in these energies and this astrological time, it is hard for all of us to maintain balloons_4a971c333935a_hires.jpgour bearings. It’s hard to stay tethered to solid land when your personal reality balloon starts lifting away into the ethers.

So if you, dear reader, are feeling untethered to land right now, or if you are feeling extremely depressed, or possibly even feeling suicidal, then recognize that it may be necessary to reach out to others who can help you get through this difficult time in your life.  You aren’t alone in what you are feeling—not at all.  It’s a tough time right now to stay tethered to this group reality when it’s so unpleasant to be here. But we all have to find a way to tough it out until the energies change for the better. And they will change.

To reach out for help from others doesn’t mean you are weak or unstable, it just means that sometimes we need a bit of help to make sure that we can reel ourselves back in and dock safely back on earth for the remainder of our stay here.

Hang in there. It will get better.

And if your reality is making you question your sanity or question whether or not you You-are-not-alone.jpgwish to stay in this mutually-agreed-upon reality, then don’t be shy, ask for help to make sense of what you may be experiencing.  You likely aren’t alone in the questions that you might be having.  Especially now.
